Toasted Almonds Recipe – Great for Snacks and Lunchboxes!

Here’s an easy recipe to fix for a little something out of the ordinary.  Almonds are a delicious and healthy snack.  You can make a batch of these almonds to put in baggies to stick in lunchboxes or just eat them as a snack.  Enjoy!

Toasted Almonds

Almonds are a delicious and healthy snack.  You can make a batch of these almonds to put in baggies to stick in lunchboxes or just eat them as a snack.  Enjoy!

Ingredients
  • 1 cup whole shelled almonds
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
  1. Heat almonds, sugar and butter in heavy skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly until almonds are toasted and sugar is golden brown, about 10 mins. Stir in vanilla. Spread almonds on foil and sprinkle with salt. Let cool and enjoy.
