- 3 cups fresh blueberries
- 3 cups fresh blackberries
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 8 tbsp sugar, separated
- 1 cup flour, separated
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 6 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Combine berries, lemon juice, 6 tablespoons of granulated sugar and 2 tablespoons flour in large bowl. Transfer to to a 2 quart baking dish.

Combine remaining flour, granulated sugar and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Mix in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in walnuts. Sprinkle over fruit.

Bake at 375° for 40 - 45 minutes until top is brown and fruit is bubbly. Cool on wire rack. Nice served with vanilla ice cream.
