CVS Shopping Trip
I wasn’t planning on doing an actual shopping trip this week however, when I headed to CVS to pick up a few items for this week’s Live Facebook video, everything started to fall into place.
I had a bunch of coupons with me for various deals but was only planning to do a couple of them. However, in my little coupon folder, I came across a $10 off $60 coupon that was going to expire soon. My first thought was that I wouldn’t spend nearly that much money to be able to use the coupon. But that all changed when I found my store had four of the Vichy Thermal Waters just sitting there waiting for me to buy them.
Knowing that was already $38 worth of product, I quickly jumped into a plan to get to the $60 based on the coupons I had with me. As you can see from below, I did it and only needed to throw in a $0.59 pen to get me over the $60.
In the end, it turned into a $7 money maker. Not too shabby for an unplanned trip.
Here is a list of what was purchased. You can see the breakdown for each making it very easy for you to mix and match deals and know exactly how much each deal costs.
These are the CVS coupons used in this transaction:
$2/2 Colgate Toothpaste CVS Coupon
$2/$6 Mouthwash CVS Coupon
$2 Grocery Purchase CVS Coupon
$10/$60 CVS coupon
Be sure to share your favorite deals this week as well. Happy Savings!
