Science Saturdays
Cost: Members: free; Non-Members: $3/child plus museum admission
Description: Oobleck Is it a solid or a liquid? Families are invited to stop by and participate in hands on science workshops. Children will be introduced to the scientific method as they conduct experiments and observe the results.

Kids Choice Car Show
Cost: FREE
Description: Local business owners, Joseph Tortis, CFP and Kenneth Gertie, CPA, are hosting their first annual Kids Choice Car Show to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey. Many show cars will be on display and the winner of the show will be chosen by children’s votes. In addition to the car show, there will be family friendly activities, food and music. The event is free and open to the community. Please bring a new unwrapped toy or paper towels.

Free Family Day at Montclair Art Museum
Cost: FREE
Description: Celebrate your creativity and join the MAM community for a fun-filled day. Participate in a day of exploration with many dynamic Museum-wide art activities. Enjoy art projects inspired by current exhibition From Heart to Hand: African-American Quilts from the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts. Be sure to check out quilting demos and projects in the galleries. Free Family Days are made possible, in part, by The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey.

18th Century Thanksgiving Dinner Demonstration And Table Customs
Cost: $3.00 adults/age 13 and older; $2.00 age 3-12; free under age 3
Description: Enjoy the atmosphere of a traditional colonial Thanksgiving dinner. Members of the Cooking Committee will demonstrate the preparation of an early American Thanksgiving dinner over the open hearth. Also included is a program on 18th century table manners and customs.
Location: Miller-Cory House Museum, 614 Mountain Avenue, Westfield, NJ
