My Shopping Trip: Target

I dragged my husband along to Target to score some of the great deals available this week.  With our upcoming move, I am really trying not to do too much shopping but I was in need of hand soap.  I’m not sure why, but we either go through a lot of hand soap or I just don’t stock up enough on it.  We just always seem to be low on hand soap.

Here is what he did:

Target:

  • (6) Dial Soap – $1.29
  • (2) Up & Up Baby Powder – $1.77
  • (4) Up & Up Ibuprofen – $0.99
  • (2) Revlon Beauty Tools – $2.99
  • Up & Up Cotton Balls – $0.99

Coupons Used:

Paid: $4.17

Total Savings including sale prices and coupons: $19.89 which I will be adding to the LRWC Reader’s Grocery Savings Counter.  Be sure to add your savings so we can see how much we have all saved in 2012

Here is an update to my Grocery Budget:

      • Total in envelope as of 5/6: $548.83
      • $12 misc trips
      • $15.94 from shopping trip 5/9
      • Total in envelope as of 5/9: $520.06
      • $4.17 from shopping trip 5/9
      • Total in envelope as of 5/9: $515.89
      • $150 added to the grocery budget envelope
      • -$40 to my daughter to buy sandwiches for a graduation party
      • -$38 Farmer’s Market
      • -$16 misc trips
      • -$4.17 from shopping trip 5/14
      • -$10 Sunday Papers
      • Total in envelope as of 5/15: $557.72
