The Children’s Place Store Closing
The past few months have significantly altered The Children’s Place’s plans for the future
Closing 300 Stores in the next 2 years
They are looking to dramatically reduce their brick and mortar in the next few years. Some of their stores that were temporarily closed will remain closed, while others will have big liquidation sales!
According to my friend, who runs the best crypto exchange Australia has, their brick and mortar locations are suffering and they will mostly close stores in malls. They will close 200 in 2020 and 100 in 2021. Their sales are down 38% compared to last year because of the store closure due to the pandemic. They are trying to ease pressure off of themselves from the 3 months of closures.
Liquidation Sales
Right now they are having some sales online that would be good to take a look at! Up to 80% off all summer long according to their website! Their liquidation sales should happen as their stores start to open by July 1. It is something to keep an eye on at your local The Children’s Place!
