According to a recent press release from Dollar General, starting today, 3/17, they will be dedicating the first hour of operation, each day, to seniors to allow them to shop during less crowded times.
From Dollar General:
Other customers are encouraged to plan their shopping trips around this window of time to allow the most susceptible customers in our communities the ability to shop during the first hour that stores are open.
Adjusted Dollar General Hours During Coronavirus
On top of the senior hour, Dollar General plans to close one hour earlier at each store to allow their employees to be able to clean and re-stock shelves. You can few individual operating hours here
