Apple Brown Betty Recipe

I don’t know how this recipe got its name, but it has been around for a long time.  It’s similar to an apple crisp but instead this recipe uses fresh bread crumbs and the crumbs are layered in with the apples.  It’s that time of year with Apple Festivals and apple picking so I thought this recipe might come in handy.

We’ve posted some fantastic apple recipes over the years here on LRWC so if today’s recipe for Apple Brown Betty doesn’t nudge you into the kitchen, maybe one of these will 😉
