Ferrero is voluntarily recalling select Kinder Chocolates.
Ferrero has reported cases of Salmonella in Europe and as a precaution is recalling 2 Kinder products in the US, even though there have been no cases reported as of yet.
Details of the Ferrero Kinder Recall
Products subject to this recall action:
1) Kinder® Happy Moments Chocolate Assortment distributed in BJ’s Wholesale Club stores and select Costco locations in the Bay Area of California and Northern Nevada.
2) Kinder® Mix Chocolate Treats Confections Assortment Basket distributed in 14 Big Y Supermarket locations in Connecticut and Massachusetts, where this product has already been removed from store shelves.
What to Do About the Recall
We are working with the three retailers to remove the products so they are no longer available for purchase. Consumers who have purchased the recalled product should not eat the product and should contact the Ferrero customer service line at 1-800-688-3552 or via https://www.ferreronorthamerica.com/contact-US-residents for a product replacement.
