In the midst of all the craziness of the world right now, I’d like to divert your attention to something that will soften that frown to a smile.

Yesterday morning, I became a Grammy and Pat became a Pop Pop when Megan had this little tiny bundle of joy. So, without further ado, I’d like to introduce you to the newest member of the LRWC family. And, if Bobby (Megan’s husband) has anything to do with it, she’ll be learning how to coupon before she learns to read.

Mia is going great. Momma is doing much better today after a rough day yesterday with high blood pressure. The medicine they were giving her caused some side effects. Plus having been in labor the entire night, she was exhausted on top of that. They are getting the blood pressure under control and she’ll be staying an extra day to monitor. Since Pat and I are not allowed in the hospital now with the restrictions, we haven’t been able to see her in person yet (thank goodness for Facetime). That, of course, is killing us but, we have a lifetime to spend with her so we are being patient and understand it’s necessary. Doesn’t mean we aren’t counting the minutes.

Pat and I have quarantined ourselves from everything and it will be 14 days tomorrow so we feel comfortable being able to see her knowing we haven’t been in contact with anyone. Once again, thank goodness for our stockpile which allowed us to have most of what we need. We did use Shipt for a delivery of fresh foods which was good. And, most recently, I was able to get a same day order from Aldi using Instacart. I was shocked but I thought, you know what, God is watching over us to be sure we can be safe for little Mia. Because quite honestly, it was like a miracle to get something ordered and delivered in the same day. And, I got every single thing I ordered. Crazy I know.

Here are a few more pictures to share with you of baby Mia…
