On Sunday, 9/29/19, massive retailer Forever 21 filed for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code.
Forever 21 Filed for Bankruptcy
Forever 21 filed for Bankruptcy Protection, which means they can continue to operate stores that they choose as usual. They are not completely going out of business – just trying to reorganize their business for the future.
High market stores will remain open, but many stores across the United States will be closing. Be sure to check the store locator to see if your store is still open before you head to the store!
Shop Online and in Certain Stores as Usual
You can continue to shop in stores that remain open as you normally would. You’ll be able to use gift cards and policies will remain the same (including returns and exchanges). You’ll also be able to still shop online!
