Last week we shared with you the new loyalty program, wellness+Bonus Cash, Rite Aid rolled out starting Sunday, 12/31. There were some items we were not sure of, such as how we would be able to use wellness+Bonus Cash etc. Well, today we have some of those answers…
How wellness+Bonus Cash will be redeemed:
wellness+Bonus Cash will be redeemed automatically to your next qualifying purchase. However, wellness+Bonus Cash can only be applied in the same denomination they were earned. For example, I earned a total of $16 wellness+Bonus Cash on Sunday, the offers I redeemed were in the amounts of $10, $5 and $1. Today, I made a purchase which totaled $6. Using coupons my total was $3.75, only $1 wellness+Bonus Cash was applied. So we cancelled the purchase and started over without coupons, both the $5 and $1 wellness+Bonus Cash were applied. Sadly, wellness+Bonus Cash will not be applied in partial amounts, this has been confirmed with our contact at Rite Aid.
How using coupons combined with wellness+Bonus Cash in a transaction:
Coupons do not affect the ability to earn or redeem wellness+Bonus Cash, however it will reduce your final total and what wellness+Bonus Cash amounts will be able to be applied to your order. So the best scenario will be for your purchase amount to be more than the wellness+Bonus Cash you have available, this will allow coupons to be used and the wellness+Bonus Cash to be applied.
New Stacking of Load 2 Card Coupons
Now, we have an update to Load2Card coupon policy. I noticed today, that Rite Aid advertised, in next week’s ad, combining both a load2card coupon and a paper manufacturer coupon.
Wow! Before I did a happy dance, I reached out to our contact and have confirmed that YES! we are now able to combine load2card coupons with paper manufacturer coupons as long as the offers are not identical.
Here is what Rite Aid said:
Me: “Just want to clarify, load2card can be stacked with paper manufacturer coupons, correct?”
Rite Aid: “Yes, provided the manufacturer and load2card coupons are not identical”
So…as long as the load2card coupon and the paper manufacturer coupon are not identical we can stack them! And, we can add to that any In-Ad Coupons and store coupons!
