CVS Shopping Trip
The deals are SMOKING this week at CVS! I was able to stock up on things that I both needed (Eucerin, Excedrin, Kleenex) AND wanted (Arizona tea, LOreal Shampoo & Conditioner). The final cost for everything I purchased in this shopping trip was just $7.00 after coupons, rebates, and Extra Bucks Rewards…..for over $111 worth of products! That’s a savings of over $104.00!
Last week I received a $10/$50 purchase at the bottom of my CVS receipt. That’s a treasure in and of itself because it’s not product specific! So while I was disappointed that I didn’t get that many useful discounts sent to my CVS app this week, this more than made up for it. And by now I’m sure we all know how easy it is to spend $50 at CVS. I can’t stress this enough: ALWAYS CHECK THE BOTTOM OF YOUR RECEIPTS! While I did NOT do a big shopping trip at CVS last week, I did run in quickly to buy 2 Hershey bars (for date night with my 7 year old son). They were on sale 2/$1.00. Normally, I would just toss a receipt like that into the trash on the way out of the store. No ECBs to look for, right? But that $10/$50 purchase coupon caught my eye just as I was about to ball it up and toss it into the trash can! Whew!
Check your store for that nice deal on the Conair Bikini Trimmer. I bought it for $8.99 and received a $5 ECB back. For $3.99, it makes a great stocking stuffer….the holidays are right around the corner!
Don’t forget to scan your card at the ExtraCare Coupon Center this week. There is an awesome 4.00 off Maybelline or Almay cosmetics CVS Instant Coupon printing for all shoppers (limit 1). I chose to use mine for Maybelline.

REMEMBER: Extra Care Bucks have an expiration date so you want to be sure and use them before they expire. I am already planning how to use the ECBs I earned on this shopping trip for my next shopping trip!
