CVS Shopping Trip

I suspected it might be a slow week when I first glanced at the CVS circular.  But then this happened!  The final cost for everything I purchased in this shopping trip was just $5.19 after coupons, rebates, and Extra Bucks Rewards…..for over $52 worth of products!  That’s a savings of 90%!  Plus, as an added bonus, a $10/$50 total purchase printed out at the bottom of my receipt.  That’s like hitting the jackpot because it’s not product specific.  We all know how easy it is to spend $50 at CVS.  You can be sure I’ll use that next week!

Freebies are always first on my list.  Especially when they are as easy as this.  Did everyone get their FREE Colgate Total Advanced toothpaste?   The Maybelline eye shadows became a money maker for me because I had a 25% off total purchase CVS coupon that I received in the  mail.  It expired on 9/17/17, but the only items it attached to were the eye shadows since everything else I bought was already on sale.

Below is a list of what was purchased.  You can see the breakdown for each making it very easy for you to mix and match deals and know exactly how much each costs.

These are the CVS coupons used in this transaction:

  • 25% off total purchase CVS coupon (received in the mail)
  • $1/$5 any deodorant, CVS coupon (select shoppers)
  • $2/$6 any body wash or bar soap, CVS coupon (select shoppers)
  • $1/1 Softsoap CVS Instant Coupon from the ExtraCare coupon center (all shoppers, limit 1)

REMEMBER: Extra Care Bucks have an expiration date so you want to be sure and use them before they expire.  I am already planning how to use the ECBs I earned on this shopping trip for my next shopping trip!

Be sure to share your favorite deals this week as well. Happy Savings!
