CVS Shopping Trip
There are some GREAT deals happening this week at CVS. Plus, I was excited when I saw a few good offers show up on my CVS app Sunday morning to stack onto this week’s sales! The final cost for everything I purchased in this shopping trip was just $3.30 after coupons and Extra Bucks Rewards…..for almost $64 worth of products! Last week, a $10/$50 total purchase coupon printed at the bottom of my receipt. This is like hitting the jackpot because it’s not product specific and really helped creating some good deals for me! ALWAYS CHECK THE BOTTOM OF YOUR RECEIPT….I almost threw this away!
Freebies are always first on my list. Did everyone get their FREE Trolli candy and e.l.f. cosmetics this week? Those were easy since no coupons are required! How about the FREE Nivea Foaming Mousse body wash? I planned this trip for Sunday because that high value $2/1 Nivea Silk Mousse coupon was expiring that day and I didn’t want to lose out on trying that new product. It turned into a money maker for me because I had a $2/$6 body wash coupon on my CVS app.
The Mars candy bags…were….well….supposed to be saved for Halloween but I might have opened one in the car! It was too SWEET of a deal to pass up for only $1.33 each! But hey, I also bought the Colgate Extra Clean tooth brush 3 packs to brush all that candy away, for only $0.23 per toothbrush!
My shopping trips don’t always go as smoothly as it may seem. I encounter issues from time to time, just like anyone else. For some reason, the ExtraCare coupon machine did NOT want to give me the $5.00 Almay coupon OR the $3/3 Hershey/Mars fun size bags. The manager came over, we kept swiping…but only the coupons loaded to my card would print. Not the Instant Coupons advertised for all shoppers. He then swiped his own personal card and they printed for him. He just needed to see the value of the offers, and then manually deducted it from my bill. I will call CVS customer service tomorrow to see if there is a problem with my card, as this is not the first time it’s happened. Wish me luck!
Below is a list of what was purchased. You can see the breakdown for each making it very easy for you to mix and match deals and know exactly how much each deal costs.
These are the CVS coupons used in this transaction:
- $10/$50 total purchase CVS coupon (printed at the bottom of last week’s receipt)
