Stop & Shop Shopping Trip
Are you guys taking advantage of all the great deals at Stop & Shop this week? I took advantage of a few of the deals and scored great savings this week.
I took advantage of the Schick Razor Deal going on again this week, my deal was a little different since I bought 2 of the razors at a higher price. I scored some Yellow Tag Clearance on CareOne Qtips, and picked up my FREE Dentastix, and scored the Skippy BOGO Deal.
Two weeks ago I took a trip to Shoprite to pick up some last minute essentials for a party. I didn’t buy any HBA products, but received 3 catalina coupons. Two of the coupons was for a free disposable Gillette or Venus Razor up to $13 and 1 was for $12 off wyb a Razor and Refills. I clipped them and used the Freebies at Stop & Shop.
I did try out the Annie’s Deal, the Mac & Cheese in the aisle with all the other standard Mac & Cheese was also included at the $1.25 price point, and not just the higher priced Organic Mac & Cheese in the Organic Aisle. So I decided to try and buy a combination of 12 boxes and cups of the mac & cheese at $1.25 each. Every box and cup I grabbed were tagged for instant savings, however, even before scanning my coupons, the instant savings did not come off. I’m suspecting the ecoupon that did come off is the culprit, then again it could have been a variety of mac & cheese I grabbed. All 6 of my coupons did double. Because the instant savings did not come off I chose to return 3 boxes and 3 cups of the Mac & Cheese, and keep the remainder at just about $0.17 per package, which is still a really great deal!
My suggestion is if you do want to attempt the deal, is to try 13 boxes or cups of the Mac & Cheese, and see what happens. If you have a self checkout or even a cashier, total out first and see if the instant savings comes off.
I picked up 2 Snickers with almond bars, however my coupons did NOT auto double.
Again, I was not surprised, but happy that all of the ecoupons I had loaded to my card for select items did actually come off my total. Now, this won’t happen for everyone, with the new policy changes but they did come off on my order again today.
