Crock Pot Berry Cobbler Recipe
Here we have an easy recipe for a delicious dessert. It cooks in your crock pot for 4 hours. Top it with some ice cream and all of your fruit lovers will be happy!
You can use any mix of berries for this recipe or stick to just one kind. You can even add some peaches in if you’d like.
Crock Pot Berry Cobbler
Ingredients:
- 4 cups mixed berries
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons quick cooking tapioca
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 3/4 cup of milk
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
Directions:
1. In crock pot, stir together berries, sugar, tapioca and lemon peel.
2. In medium bowl combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder and nutmeg. Add milk and butter, stir until blended. Drop spoonfuls on top of the berry mixture.
3. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours. Uncover and let stand for 30 minutes. Serve with ice cream or plain.
