With back-to-school season in full effect in some states and just around the corner in others, saving money on new clothes, shoes, school supplies and computers is at the top of many parents’ lists. In order to ease this burden somewhat on their residents and neighbors, 17 states have declared “tax holidays” in the upcoming weeks.
On top of deals and coupons, shoppers in the following states will be able to save additional money by avoiding state tax on popular back-to-school themed items. The following table outlines all the states participating, their time lines, which products and values are included.
