Recall of Nice! Jarred Fruit Sold in Walgreens Stores – More Glass Hazards

Just two weeks ago, I reported on two separate recalls of foods with reported glass shards inside. Today, you can add a third one to that list. Milky Way International, the makers of Nice! jarred fruits, has recalled lots of two of its fruit products over concerns of glass shards found inside the product. Like the other recalls, consuming these food products puts users at risk of injury and thus they should not be consumed.

Here are the details:

The affected products have since been pulled from Walgreen’s shelves, but were distributed nationwide prior to the recall. So far, only one consumer has complained about glass in the Peaches product, no one has reported glass in the mixed fruit product. Either way, the recall has been issued by the company out of an abundance of caution and they urge customers to return these foods to the original place of purchase for a full refund.
