Target Gift Card Trade In Program
Target has jumped on the Gift Card Trade-in program bandwagon. You may already be familiar with sites like Raise.com or GiftCardGranny.com as reliable sources for selling (and buying) unused gift cards. Well, now you can add Target to that list
So, if you received a gift card from one of the over 600 participating stores, and you probably will not use it, you can head to a participating Target Store to turn over your unused gift cards. In exchange, you will receive Target store credit right on the spot. Please keep in mind, like most of the gift card trade-in programs, you will not get 100 percent of the card’s value.
Target spokesperson, Kristy Welker told the Star Tribune:
We know guests sometimes have unwanted or unused gift cards and [we] want to give them a convenient option to put those unused dollars toward shopping at Target
You can find more details on the Target Gift Card Trade-in Program here including participating stores and details on the trade-in process. According to the Star Tribune, the gift card program, which is expected to run year round, is available in about 1,500 of Target’s 1,800 stores
