You might find that you already have some of the items listed on the shopping list in your stock pile so your out of pocket cost will be even less! Just so you know, some prices may vary at your local Walmart.

Total Cost: approximately $5.18
Ingredients you will need for this recipe:
- Chicken Leg Quarters -1 1/2 – 2 lbs.
- Lemon – 1/2
- Oil – 1/4 cup
- Fresh parsley – 1/4 cup chopped
- Garlic – 2 – 4 cloves
- Basil – 4-5 leaves (optional)
- Dried oregano – 1/4 teaspoon (optional)

Taco Salad with Savory Sausage
with Tortilla Chips
Total Cost: approximately $6.06
Ingredients you will need for this recipe:
- Smoked Sausage
- Lettuce – 8 cups
- Corn – 1 cup
- Black beans – 1 cup
- Cherry tomatoes – 12 halved
- Avocado – 1
- Scallion – ¼ cup chopped
- Salad dressing, such as Italian – ½ cup
We substituted tomatoes on the vine for the cherry tomatoes.

Stir-Fried Turkey in Lettuce Cups
with French Bread
Total Cost: approximately $5.56
Ingredients you will need for this recipe:
- Soy sauce – 1/4 cup
- Honey – 2 tablespoons
- Cilantro – 2 tablespoons minced
- Oil – 1 tablespoon
- Onion – 1 small
- Bell pepper – 1
- Garlic – 1 clove, minced
- Ginger – 1 teaspoon minced
- Ground turkey – 1 lb.
- Bibb or iceberg lettuce – 8 “cups”
This recipe suggests a red bell pepper, but we added a green one instead since they are on sale and included in the Ibotta Rebate.

Total Cost: approximately $5.83
Ingredients you will need for this recipe:
- Fish fillets – about 20 oz
- Olive oil – 4 teaspoons
- Fresh herbs – 4 sprigs (parsley, rosemary or oregano)
- Lemon – 1 sliced thin

Grilled Curried Chicken
with Teriyaki Noodles and Stir-Fry Vegetables
Total Cost: approximately $5.57
Ingredients you will need for this recipe:
- Olive oil – 1 1/3 tablespoons
- Curry Powder – 1 1/3 teaspoons
- Garlic Salt – 2/3 teaspoon (we put Garlic Powder on our list)
- Onion Powder – 2/3 teaspoon
- Paprika – 2/3 teaspoon
- Boneless chicken breast – 1 lb.
This was a recipe for six. We adjusted it for four and that is why the measurements are a little odd.
