Saturday 1/17/15:
Nature Story Time
Cost: Free for members. Non-members: $5 per child.
Description: Families with children ages 3-7 will enjoy a nature-themed story and a visit from one of Tenafly Nature Center’s Animal Ambassadors. Learn about the animal and how they came to Tenafly Nature Center. A new story and animal are featured each month. Animals may include snakes, frogs, turtles, owls or a hawk. Meet on the Visitor Center porch. In case of inclement weather, the program will be held under cover. Children must be accompanied by an adult who may attend for free.

Mam Family Art Adventure
Cost: $15 per family /$6 Family level members and above
Description: Come to Montclair Art Museum for an hour-log, drop-in gallery program for children 5 and up and their adult companions. Explore and discuss artworks and engage in fun activities in MAM’s galleries and sculpture garden. Advance tickets are available online at montclairartmuseum.org, in The Store at MAM, or by calling 973-259-5137.

Sunday 1/18/15:
Maple Sugaring
Cost: $3 per person ages 3 & up
Description: Maple syrup is winter’s sugary treasure! The sap is flowing and the sugaring season is underway at the Great Swamp OEC. Come experience all the sweet sights and smells at a maple sugaring demonstration. Discover the process from start to finish by identifying and tapping maple trees, collecting sap, and seeing syrup made over a wood-fired evaporator. Think you can identify the differences between maple syrups? Taste test three distinct maple syrups and let us know which one you enjoy the most!

Music At The Museum: Student Recitals
Cost: FREE
Description: Music at the Museum is an exciting new concert series featuring artists from Mason Gross School of the Arts Extension Division and Collegiate Music Department performing at the renowned Zimmerli Art Museum. Afternoon concerts in the galleries place great artists and great art side-by-side to astounding affect.
Location: Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University, 71 Hamilton Street, New Brunswick, NJ
