Dyeing With Nature At Plainsboro Preserve
Cost: $5 per person for members; $7 for nonmembers
Description: Our native plants are special in so many ways, and one is that they can help color our world! Learn the basics of dying with natural materials, and take home sample dyed cloth and recipes. Optional: bring one 100% white cotton T-shirt to dye and take home.

Art For Families: Art Tales
Cost: FREE
Description: Join us on Saturday mornings for family fun in the Art Museum. Drop in anytime between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. and enjoy an engaging gallery activity followed by a related art project. Each week has a different theme. Come for fifteen minutes or two hours—whatever your schedule allows! All ages are welcome; no tickets or reservations are needed. This week hear stories from around the world and be inspired to create imaginative characters of your own.

Thanksgiving Harvest Home & Armistice Observance
Cost: $6/adult, $5/senior (65+), $4/child (ages 4 -16), $2/child (2 and 3).
Description: Experience 1918 Thanksgiving preparations, help with hands-on farm chores, take a wagon ride around the farm, and much more. At 2 p.m., enjoy a special choral tribute to our veterans by the Picatinny Chorus.

Open Cockpit Weekend
Cost: $8.00 Adults, $6.00 seniors and children under 12 (2 and under free)
Description: The Aviation Hall of Fame announces its last “Open Cockpit Weekend of 2014” Saturday, November 15th and Sunday, November 16th, 2014 from 10 AM till 4 PM each day. This gives our patrons two days over the weekend to come out to this special event instead of just one as in past years. Visitors can sit in the cockpits of a one-of-a-kind 1950 Martin 202 airliner, a rare Lockheed-designed Bush Plane, a Cobra gunship helicopter, An HH-52A Coast Guard helicopter, an OV-1A Mohawk close support aircraft, our “Little-Cut-Up” aircraft control demonstrator, and the control cab of an Airport Rescue and Fire-Fighting truck and in a 1930 era ambulance. People, young and old can learn how the flight systems work. Qualified pilots will help guests understand the instruments and controls of these special aircraft and vehicles.
