Saturday 8/23/14:
Canal Day Music & Craft Festival
Cost: FREE
Description: The festival celebrates the Morris Canal and its contribution to the development of the communities along its banks, and supports the restoration of an historic canal lock. This will be the 39th Annual Canal Day. Some of the days offerings include free kayak rides on the canal, free pony rides, blacksmith demonstrations, a Civil War firearms demonstration, WWF Style professional Wrestling, performances from 10 of NJ’s best bands on two performance areas as well as 100 artist, craft, and food vendors and free fireworks at dark.

Snow White
Cost: $5
Description: Come and meet Snow White, her sister Rose Red, a mysterious gypsy woman, seven silly little friends and of course, The Wicked Queen. Will there be a happy ending? We’ll have to wait for the Prince to learn the answer.
Location: Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre, 355 Washington Crossing Pennington Rd., Titusville, NJ

Hunterdon County 4-H Fair
Cost: FREE
Description: In the spirit of the Garden State’s agrarian heritage, this fair will feature 4-H exhibits, family entertainment, games, amusement rides, fireworks, and more.
Location: Hunterdon County Fair Grounds, 1207 Route 179, Lambertville, NJ

Sunday Mystery Walk
Cost: FREE
Description: Take a risk and come learn something new! Each walk will be different and will focus on either horticulture, agro-ecology, wildlife ecology, sustainability, or cultural legacy, but you won’t know until you get to the farm!
Location: Duke Farms, 1112 Dukes Parkway West, Hillsborough, NJ
Time: 1 pm – 3 pm
