25th Annual New Jersey State Chili and Salsa Cook Off

Cost:  FREE
Description:  From street performers and live music to chili and salsa tasting and contests, this annual festival is packed with family fun.
Location: Washington Street, Toms River, NJ

Downtown Somerville FestiVille

Cost:  FREE
Description: Celebrate the arrival of Spring at Downtown Somerville’s Main Street extravaganza bursting with one-of-a-kind sales, samples and demos. One day only special savings valid with $5 wristbands at participating merchants. Free entertainment includes performances by the Acrobuffos, Dotan Negrin (Piano Around the World), The Real McCoy Show & more. $5 wristband allows kids all day access to games, attractions, face painting, pony rides and more!

29th Annual Fine Art and Crafts Show

Cost: FREE
Description: Go for a paddle boat ride on the lake, create sand art masterpieces, enjoy freshly baked goods, and browse through the creations of 145 artists and crafters.

Children’s Container Gardening Workshops

Cost: $10 members, $15 non-members
Description:  Join Nancy Cochrane and Master Gardener and educator Olga Newey to explore the fun of gardening. Learn to grow veggies and herbs in different containers; you’ll take home what you plant.
Location: New Jersey Botanical Garden, 2 Morris Road, Ringwood, NJ
