Saturday 4/19/14:
Thomas Edison National Historical Park / National Park Fee Free Days
Cost: FREE
Description: Entrance fees will be waived for all visitors to the park on Saturday and Sunday April 19th and 20th. A fee free day is a great opportunity to discover new programs, new stories or for those who have never visited before, discover what the park has to offer. Thomas Edison National Historical Park will be joining national park sites around the country in celebrating National Park Week from April 19 to 27, 2014. The National Park Foundation is once again partnering with the National Park Service to spread the word about parks to millions of Americans. The joint website http://nationalparkweek.org will highlight activities and invite visitors to share their park photos, videos, and tips. This year’s theme is “Go Wild!”

Easter Bunny Express
Cost: Infants On Laps, One-year of age and under: FREE ; Children (Under 12): $9; Adults (Age 12+): $14
Description: Celebrate the return of spring with a fun themed train ride through northern New Jersey! The Easter Bunny and train crew will be on board greeting everyone during the 45-minute round-trip ride along the Morristown and Erie Railway’s historic Whippanong Trail.

Ready to Rock

Description: Rock into spring at the Bergen County YJCC. “Ready to Rock” is a community-wide free event with activities for all ages.

Hoppin’ to Break a World Record at Easter
Description: Help Yogi and Boo Boo Bear become Guinness Book of World Record Holders when we attempt to break the record for the Most Easter Eggs Dyed at one Time. Your entire family is invited and encouraged to participate in this historic event. This will be an Easter to remember with special appearances by the Easter Bunny, Cindy Bear, Ranger Smith an Easter Egg Drop, loads of Games and prizes. Everyone that participates in the World Record Attempt will receive a certificate acknowledging your accomplishment.
