Saturday 2/15/14:

Super Science Saturday: Chromatography

Cost:  Free / Non-Members $3/child plus museum admission
Description: Participate in hands-on science workshops, conduct experiments to find hidden colors, and observe your results.
Location: Morris Museum, 6 Normandy Heights Road, Morristown, NJ

Description:  The Garden State Discovery Museum will be celebrating Valentine’s Day, Italian style! We also be celebrating Valentine’s Day with crafts, dances, and activities with the Italian culture

George Washington’s Birthday Celebration

Cost:  Free
Description: Enjoy colonial music in the parlor, gingerbread baking on the hearth, spinning, woodworking, hands-on activities of quill pen writing, colonial education, toys and games, and a visit from General Washington himself!
Location: Washington Crossing State Park, 355 Washington Crossing Pennington Rd., Titusville, NJ

Great Backyard Bird Count

Cost:  FREE
Description:  Take part in this annual event as birdwatchers of all ages count birds to create a snapshot of where birds are across the continent. Bring binoculars, and your curiosity.
Location: Great Swamp OEC, 247 Southern Blvd., Chatham, NJ
Time: 1 – 4 pm
