Saturday 9/14/13:
Hefty Harvest and Scary Scarecrows Family Festival
Cost: $4 for children, $6 for 12 yrs. and older
Description: This annual celebration of the bountiful harvest includes games, crafts, and more. Make your own full-sized scarecrow to take home (while supplies last). Display vegetables from your garden. The Bountiful Harvest concession stand will feature the rich fall flavors of pumpkin, cranberries, and apples.
Location: Camden Children’s Garden, 3 Riverside Drive, Camden, NJ

St. Stephen’s International Festival
Cost: FREE
Description: FUN FOR ALL AGES! 3 Day International festival featuring delicious foods and baked desserts of the following cuisines: Greek, Middle Eastern, Slavic, and American. Car show Friday evening, dancers on Saturday evening. Crafts and activities for young children, shopping vendors, and boardwalk games.
Location: St. Stephen’s Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, 609 Lane Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ

Sunday 9/15/13:
Apple Day
Cost: $5 ages 3 and up
Description: Dance to the Daisy Jug Band, playing both days. Fresh apple pies, juicy roast pork, fresh apple cider, and apple cider donuts are among the delicious treats. Fill your day with wagon rides, pony rides, face painting, pumpkin painting, and make-your-own scarecrow. Pick apples and pumpkins.
