ShopRite Gift Card Deal 2013
The ShopRite Gift Card Catalina Deal is back starting on Sunday, 5/19 at ShopRite. The deal is: Buy $50 in any participating General Mills Products and get a $25 ShopRite Gift Card, Hess, Gulf, BP or Shell Gift Cards.
How it Works:
This deal tracks on your Price Plus card for the entire week through 5/25. So, you can purchase participating products in multiple transactions throughout the week. Once you hit the $50 mark, you will get a certificate printed at the bottom of your register receipt.
When you earn your certificate, you pick up a gift card at the gift card display in the store and bring it the register to have it activated. You have to redeem your certificate by 6/8/13.
Fine Print:
Qualifying purchases are calculated BEFORE taxes, bottle deposits or fees, and the face value of manufacturer coupons and AFTER ShopRite store coupons, ShopRite Price Plus club card deductions and any doubled or tripled value of manufacturer coupons.
Now, I can tell you that, in the past, offers that have stated the same thing, have worked on pre-price plus prices just like every other offer. And, the ones last year worked off of Pre-Price Plus prices as well. But, having said that, I can not guarantee that it will happen with this. Like any kind of deal, we have to see how it goes. The good thing is that since this is tracking throughout the week, we can tell right away how it is working out (as long as it keeps a running total on your receipt).
Having gone through the entire circular for next week, I did not see anything that was on sale and part of this deal. So, we’ll have to wait until Sunday to see the prices.
Items Participating:
In the past, they have published a list of all the products so hopefully they will do that again.

Double Dips:
Of course, the first thing I look for is that double dip opportunity. There are none available for the catalinas that end on Sunday however, there will be a new batch of catalina deals that start on Monday so I’ll be keeping an eye on those.
