Lowes Clearance
Next time you are at Lowes, be sure to check out the clearance area. Reader Steph found these gorgeous Allen + Roth Pillow Covers at her Lowes for just $2.49 and she also found panels for only $7.49. Sweet!
Plus, I have to tell you, as someone that worked in the high end drapery business for many years, I was fortunate to get high end drapery hardware at super, super low prices. Since we moved we needed some extra hardware and I can not afford to buy high end drapery hardware now so I searched and searched for substitutions. To my surprise, Lowes has a really nice selection of drapery hardware that are knock offs of higher end products at a fraction of the cost.
The 2 photos above are from my house. The photo on the left is in my dining room and I was able to reuse the drapery hardware from my old house. That hardware is from a higher end drapery hardware company and cost over $350. Remember, I did not pay that price. Had you worried right?! The one on the right is in my kitchen and I found that at Lowes for just $55. It was actually $65 but I used a Lowes Coupon for an even better deal.
So while you are checking out the clearance pillow covers and panels, be sure to take a look at the drapery hardware.
