Kellogg’s Recall – Kellogg’s Special K Red Berries cereal
Kellogg’s has initiated a voluntary recall of three sizes of Kellogg’s Special K Red Berries cereal packages due to the possible presence of glass fragments.
This recall involves the following packages:
- 11.2-ounce package:

Better if Used Before: DEC 02 2013 KNC 105 00:13 through DEC 02 2013 KNC 105 02:30
- 22.4-ounce twin pack:
UPC Code 38000 78356

NOV 30 2013 KNB 105 15:00 to NOV 30 KNB 105 17:05
- 37-ounce package
UPC Code 38000 20940
Better if Used Before: NOV 30 2013 KNB 107 17:31 to NOV 30 2013 KNB 107 20:05
If your package is any size other than the 11.2, 22.4 or 37 ounces, it is not impacted by this recall.

Heartland Brands Recall – Heartland Harvest Spice Granola Cereal and Heartland Fruit & Nut Harvest Granola Cereal
Heartland Brands is voluntarily recalling two of their granola cereals as a precaution due to the possible presence of fragments of flexible metal mesh in an ingredient. The ingredient is a grain blend, and the problem was discovered and reported by the ingredient supplier, Dakota Specialty Milling.
The two Heartland cereal varieties affected are:
- Heartland Harvest Spice Granola Cereal — 14 oz.; UPC 024300 090394; Best If Used By dates from 20130326 (March 26, 2013) through 20130910 (Sept. 10, 2013).
- Heartland Fruit & Nut Harvest Granola Cereal — 14 oz.; UPC 024300 090387; Best If Used By dates from 20130325 (March 25, 2013) through 20130910 (Sept. 10, 2013).
No other Heartland Brands products are involved in this recall.
