ShopRite does have the Uncle Ben’s Converted Rice 5 lb bag on sale this week for $5.99 making it just $5.49 after coupon (org $7.99).
However, while I was searching to see the price of Uncle Ben’s Converted Rice, I stumbled upon another deal. BTW, if you are wondering what Converted Rice is, here is your definition:
Converted white rice is neither regular long grain rice nor instant long grain rice. Also called parboiled rice, converted rice is the unhulled grain that has been steam-pressured before milling. Anyway, back to the better deal I found. While searching ShopRite for Uncle Ben’s I noticed that the Uncle Ben’s Garden Vegetable Ready Cups and the White Rice Ready Cups are priced at only $0.49. Plus there is a $1/2 Uncle Ben’s Ready Cup coupon in the 1/6 RP to make them free.
Also, the Uncle Ben’s Rice Pilaf, 6 oz is also $0.49. On the Uncle Ben’s site there is a coupon for $1 off any Uncle Ben’s Products making them just $0.15
