ShopRite: CoverGirl Lip Catalina Deal Update
By now most of you are finding out that the CoverGirl deal that was posted in the ShopRite Match Ups is not working as planned. The deal is part of the P&G buy $20 Get a $5 Catalina. Some of the CoverGirl Lip Gloss were originally priced at $4.89 and on sale for $2.44. Here is what seems to be happening…
Select CoverGirl Lip Gloss that were priced at $4.89 are not ringing up on sale for $2.44. Then when the cashiers manual adjust the price, the registers are not seeing the original, pre-price plus price. Therefore, it’s not calculating properly. However, I did find a deal on the CoverGirl WetSlicks. At my store, the shelf tagged listed the price at $4.89 but when I did a price check on them, they showed them as being $6.59 with a price plus sale of $3.29. So, I did this deal:

Be sure to price check the CoverGirl Lip products before heading to the register to be sure that it’s showing price plus sale.
