NJ Happenings: Space Mission, Open Ceramics and more!

For New Jersey Residents:  Here are some free and/or inexpensive family activities for this weekend.

  • Saturday, 1/7: Magic Tree House: Space Mission at the Raritan Valley CC Planetarium in Branchburg. At 3:00pm discover the secrets of the sun, moon, planets, space travel and more. $6/show. Click here to find out more.
  • Sunday, 1/8: Open Ceramics at the Thompson Park Creative Art Center in Lincroft. Design your own bisque fired pottery pieces to glaze and decorate. 12:30 – 4:30pm. $6/hr, plus cost of bisque-ware. Click here to find out more.
  • Sunday, 1/8: The Secrets of La Befana at the Miller-Cory House Museum in Westfield. Enjoy the re-enactment of La Befana, the Christmas witch, which is one of Italy’s most celebrated tales. 2:00 – 4:00pm. $3/adult, $1/ students. Click here to find out more.
