My Shopping Trip: Target
I am cracking up this week. I just can not spend my grocery money. Every time I go to the store, I come out buying something for practically nothing. It happened again last night at Target.
For these transactions, all I paid for was tax. And, I even had a $5 Target Gift Card that I used for that. Also, because of the limits on the P&G coupons (limit of 4 like coupons per transactions), I brought my couponing sidekick, Pat (aka Mr. LRWC) with me so we could do 2 transactions. Here is what we did.
Transaction #1:
- 4 IAMs Dog Food $3.00
- 4 Gillette Fusion Shave Cream $0.97
Coupons Used:
- (4)$3/1 IAMs from the 1/29 PG
- (4)$1/1 Gillette Fusion Shave Prep from the 1/1 PG (expires today!)
- Tax: $1.11
Total Paid with Target Gift Card: $1.11
Transaction #2
- 2 IAMs Dog Food $3.00
- 3 Gillette Fusion Shave Cream $0.97
Coupons Used:
- (2)$3/1 IAMs from the 1/29 PG
- (3)$1/1 Gillette Fusion Shave Prep from the 1/1 PG
- Tax: $0.62
Total Paid with Target Gift Card: $0.62
Total Savings including sale prices and coupons: $27.70 which I will be adding to the LRWC Reader’s Grocery Savings Counter. Be sure to add your savings so we can see how much we have all saved in 2012
