NJ Happenings: Kwanzaa Festival, Skate with Santa & More

For New Jersey Residents:  Here are some free and/or inexpensive family activities for this weekend.

  • Saturday, 12/17: Kwanzaa Children’s Festival in Newark.  Bring the family for a day of activities, crafts, music and dance.  This event is free. 12:00 – 5:00pm. Click here to find out more.
  • Saturday and Sunday, 12/17 – 12/18: Skate with Santa in Roselle. $5/adult, $4/kids. From 1:00 – 3:00pm join Santa on the ice and take pictures with him! Click here to find out more.
  • Saturday and Sunday, 12/17 – 12/18: Laser Nutcracker Spectacular 3D at the NJ State Museum in Trenton. Enjoy amazing laser animation, Tchaikovsky’s ballet and seasonal favorites including Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph and others. 11:00am – 4:00pm. $7/adult, $5/child. Click here to find out more.
