This was my first trip out in a week since I hurt my back and I almost pulled it out again when I walked into my ShopRite. I was shock and excited at what I saw. There amongst a large cart of Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner, was a large, hand written sign:
The sign clearly states that you need to buy 4 at $6.99 = $25.96 which is the Pre-Price Plus Price and it qualifies for the Proctor & Gamble, Buy $25 Get a $10 Catalina. If you are familiar with the deal, the Pantene (large bottles) are on a price plus sale for only $3.99 so buying 4 is really only $15.96. You can see the complete breakdown of the deal here.
The sign did only show the use of (1)$3/2 Pantene Coupon instead of 2 but, hey, I am so happy to see this. We, as couponers, know that these deals work this way. Catalina Marketing and the manufacturers know that the deals work this way. But, the stores usually don’t. So, if my back wasn’t on the mend, I would have done my happy dance right there in the middle of ShopRite.
I think I may have to have this photo blown up and keep it in my office so I can always look at it. It makes me happy! 😀
