Counterfeit Johnson & Johnson Coupon

The Coupon Information Corporation, also known as the CIC, has just announced that the $2/2 Listerine, Stayfree, Carefree, Zyrtec, Aveeno, Band-Aid, Neosporin Coupon is now listed as a counterfeit coupon.  This coupon was actually a legitimate bricks coupons printed through the Coupons.com technology.

You can determine if a coupon is legitimate by checking the Veri-fi code on the coupon.  This code is located under the expiration date on the coupon.  You can check those codes at Veri-fi.com.  I checked a $2/2 coupon that I just printed and I even put in the code of the “counterfeit coupon” posted on the CIC website.  Both come up as valid codes according to Veri-fi.com.

Now, you are probably asking yourself, why in the world is this coupon on the CIC counterfeit list.  Well, in most cases, when there is a legimate coupon that has been put on the couterfeit list, it is because that coupon has been copied and used numerous times.  And in order for the company to prevent even more copied coupons from being used, they declare all of then counterfeit.

If you have used a printed, non copied, coupon for a previous purchase, then you have nothing to worry about.  However, because they have reported them as counterfeit, you will not be able to use the coupons as stores will be notified that this has been added to the counterfeit list.

Please always, always remember, you can NOT copy coupons.  The result of doing so, is exactly what has happened here and is also against the law.
