This weeks shopping consisted of all Catalina deals.
Catalina deal # 1 was at A&P.
I ran to A&P to take advantage of the Stonyfield Farm deal they were having. Here I paid $3.60 for the yogurt and received a $3.00 Catalina. Then I turned around and bought the milk, which cost me $0.99 after using the $3.00 catalina to pay. Can you believe I grabbed a gallon of milk that was $3.99. Well I still can’t believe I paid that much. But, I was there, I needed milk and I had a $3.00 catalina to pay for it. So I just did it.
I’m sure a lot of you got to take advantage of this great moneymaker. Here I spent $14.98 out of pocket and got back $21 in catalinas. The cashier said it best when she said, “I think you hit the jackpot” when they just kept coming out of the machine. I laughed and said yep, I sure did! If you look closely at the picture you’ll see there is a $3.00 catalina missing. It’s actually under another $3.00 cat. I didn’t realize it until after I put everything away. But I did get $21 worth.
This was actually not a catalina but an ECB deal at CVS. Same thing though. Bought everything here for $4.69 out of pocket (including tax) and got a $5 ECB. Make sure on the Fig Newtons or the Wheat Thins, that you buy 5 of them (can be a mix) or else they will ring up at $1.99 each. You can see the CVS deals here.
And, Catalina Deal #4 was at Pathmark:
It was actually a rebate deal that I posted earlier. I paid $14.90 out of pocket (including tax) and will get back a $10 rebate.
So all together I paid $38.17 out of pocket and have $26.00 to use next week plus $10 in a rebate. So all this cost $2.17. Pretty sweet deal!!
