Target Shopping Trip
This week Target has the awesome $5 off $20 Meat Coupon. You can get your coupon by texting GRILL to 827-438 or you can find it in your weekly ad.
Whenever they have this coupon, the first thing I do is zoom in to the meat section at the store searching for any clearance meat. I know, the term clearance meat sounds bad but, it’s simply meat that has reached or has come close to it’s expiration date. If you plan on using the meat right away or freezing it, there is nothing wrong with it at all.
I was totally psyched to find many packs of pork chops with $2 off clearance coupons on them. SCORE! As, I always do with on package meat coupons, I search for the smallest packs to get the biggest back for my buck. In this case, I found 5 packs priced anywhere from $3.82 – $4.25 making them just $1.82 – $2.25 after the $2 clearance coupon. But, don’t forget, I was also able to use the $5 off $20 Meat coupon I mentioned above. Big SCORE!
And, to make it even better, I used a Target Gift Card I had so my out of pocket was just $0.47. Big, Big SCORE!

Update: There is also a Target Cartwheel on Market Pantry Chops for 5% off. I didn’t use mine as I was rushing in and out for something else and didn’t bother to check. See, even experienced couponers make mistakes. Note to self….check cartwheel every single time. 😉
