ExtraSavings at CVS All Summer Long
With summer in full swing, many of you guys might have kids away at summer camp for a week or two, maybe even longer. My kids are still too young for camp but I’ve already begun thinking about how they will most likely attend a summer camp for a few weeks when they get older. Many kids from our local church attend summer camp and we enjoy hearing all about their experiences when they get back. We also notice the extra quiet time the parents have when kids are away at camp 😉
If you’ve got kiddos away at camp, have you considered sending them a care package? As parents, you send kids to camp with the essentials, but in no time they’ve lost their toothbrush, can’t find a hair tie, wish they had a piece of gum, etc. This is why sending care packages is such a fun idea in my opinion. It allows you to provide love and a taste of home that your child might need after being away, while also ensuring they’ve got everything they need to survive. I love this idea and you can get as creative as you want with your package or stay simple like I did to make my sample care package.
CVS continues to be my go to store for summer essentials! They’re conveniently located, always have great prices and I can find everything I need all in one place! I love their Gold Emblem line for quality great tasting snacks at an always great price. I was able to pick up a variety of Gold Emblem snacks such as trail mix, cashews, yogurt covered cranberries as well as some essentials I think every camper might need extra of while away from home – an extra toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo & conditioner, lip balm, bug repellant, wipes, etc. I even was able to get a fun water hopper ball for a fun treat!
