Extreme Couponing Shopping Trip

Once again, I didn’t really need much at the grocery store except for produce which I had picked up over the weekend at a local farmers market and at Best Market.  However, there were a few deals I wanted to take advantage of at ShopRite, especially since my Nestle Pure Life Coupons are expiring on the 9th.  I will also be heading to A&P tonight to use up my $10 certificate before it expires tonight.  Since there is a Marshalls right next to the A&P, the trick will be to see if I can stay out of Marshalls.  I need willpower! 😉

Here is what I did this morning:

ShopRite Transaction :

  • (4) Nestle Pure Life Flavored Water – $1.25
  • (1) Kleenex Go Pack – 8 pack – $2.59
  • (1) Glade Expressions Oil Kit – $6.29
  • (1) Hershey’s Simple Pleasures Chocolate – $3.99

Coupons Used:

Paid: $2.40
Received: $2.00 Catalina (Glade) & $2.00 Catalina (Kleenex)

Total Savings including sale prices and coupons: $25.56 which I will be adding to the LRWC Reader’s Grocery Savings Counter.  Be sure to add your savings so we can see how much we have all saved in 2012

  • $63.40 for produce/meat at Best Market
  • added $150 to envelope on 8/17
  • $33.70 Shopping Trips on 8/19
  • total in envelope as of 8/19: $323.61
  • $11.59 Shopping Trip on 8/22
  • total in envelope as of 8/23: $312.02
  • $42.20 for produce at Best Market
  • $3.45 trip to ShopRite (not posted)
  • $35.76 for produce at Best Market
  • $5.96 Shopping Trip on 8/30
  • total in envelope as of 8/31: $224.64
  • $53.20 for produce/meat at Best Market & the farmers market
  • added $150 to the envelope on 8/31
  • $2.40 Shopping Trip on 9/6
  • total in envelope as of 8/31: $319.04
