Fuel Rewards Network Cards
Here’s a new way for us to save money on gas called the Fuel Rewards Network Card Program – or FRN. The FRN program is redeemable for fuel saving at participating Shell stations. It offers many ways to earn rewards through purchases of things like food, clothing and household goods. You can 5 cents per gallon in rewards for every $50 spent through the online mall – and sometimes much more, depending on the retailer.
There are many ways to save through the Fuel Rewards Network, here are a few:
- Online Mall – Access nearly 700 brand name online merchants offering 5 cents per gallon for every $50 you spend. Some merchants may offer 2x, 5x, 10x rewards or more – so you can multiply your savings!
- Dining – Earn 10 cents per gallon for every $50 you spend when you dine at more than 10,000 participating restaurant locations nationwide.
- Shell Fuel Rewards – Purchase specially marked products inside the convenience store as well as car washes and auto services at participating Shell stations and earn Fuel Rewards savings.
- eCoupons – Digital coupons available for retailers in select markets provide additional cents-per-gallon savings when the digital coupon is selected at fuelrewards.com.
For example, if you buy sneakers online for $50 at NikeShop.com, you will earn a 15 cents per gallon savings. Purchase school clothes online at GapKids.com and Kohls.com you will earn a 15 cents per gallon savings. Or take your family out for dinner at the Macaroni Grill (yum!) and spend $50, and you’ll earn 10 cents per gallon.
The program is free – pick up a Fuel Rewards Network Card at a participating Shell station or online at fuelrewards.com. Activate your card at fuelrewards.com and start saving!
Sounds great! Well to make this even a little sweeter, Shell has offered to FIVE of our lucky readers a FRN card that is pre-loaded with $2.50 per gallon savings (good for up to 20 gallons on a one-time use). So if you use up the 20 gallons savings in one use, you will have saved $50 on gas.

Well, I haven’t filled up in years. I have been using about $20 a week for forever. but it caught up with me this week. I stalled out 1 block from the gas station. So once I finally got there, I did fill it. I expect it to last about 3 weeks. But I absolutely cannot run out again or I will be single again for sure.

My car is very good on gas and I’m very happy about it. I fill up once in 2 weeks. But my husband’s car burns a lot of gas plus he has to buy the most expensive one! That’s why we use my car when we go somewhere together and he only drives his car to work. That way he only needs to fill up once in 2 weeks also.
Here in CT Shell takes Stop&Shop gas points. I wonder if they can be combined with FRN. But either way it’s a good program!

I fill my gas-guzzler up 2x a week! :o/
6 days a week because I’m a mail carrier. If I’m not working 2 times a week.

I fill up at least twice a week…grandkids are so worth the drive.
We use about 1.5 tanks of gas a week, about $35 to fill. Why that doesn’t sound like a lot, it’s a one income household …will be much better hopefully when I get a job again….
