Not too long ago we had a Nivea giveaway and here we are with another great giveaway from them! We will be giving out prizes to four lucky readers.
First, one of our readers will receive a Movie-themed Nivea New Year’s kit. The kit includes:

- $25 Fandango gift card (good for 2 adult movie tickets)
- And the Nivea New Year’s Eve hat that everyone wears in Times Square!! (I want one!)

I’m going to such an exciting place on New Year’s Eve….my living room! I do love it. We stay home every year, and purposely have no company. It’s a welcomed break after hosting the holidays. PJs and good food all the way!

I am going back home to Atlanta for New Years and catch up with some old friends. I haven’t partied in ATL in a long time so excited!
We will be having family and friends over for games and drinks. We did this last year and it was so relaxing. Plus since we all have kids none of us are really into the staying up all night, spending tons of money thing.
Spending New Years’s Eve at a good friends house. Lots of kids, lots of fun to be had by all.
We never do too much since we havethe little ones now. We do celebrate with a kids countdown as the clock sticks 8 then off to bed. Mom and Dad try to stay awake for the ball.

I will be spending New Year’s with my family. We usually play games like Clue, card games or games on the Wii. I love it. It reminds me of what I should be thankful for. We always have a glass in our hand at the stroke of midnight and clink glasses, it’s a great way to start a new year.

A great dinner and bed early. Our family has a tradition of participating in the Polar Bear Plunge on Jan 1st at noon in the chilly waters of the jersey shore.

My anniversary is on new year’s, and we usually don’t do anything special that day (we go out a few days earlier). It is hard to top the best party we ever had 7 years ago.

This New Year’s Eve I will be throwing a party with my brothers for all our friends and family! We come from a military family and now that we’re all grown up, New Year’s Eve is a time to celebrate with our friends from all over the place. It’s become a yearly event and we love it!
No plans at all.
NYE is ALWAYS spent at home, where it’s cheap, safe, and warm! lol I have two young children and I love making a bunch of fun snacks for them and seeing if they can stay awake. My husband and I usually have a cocktail to toast at midnight and then hit the hay!
My husband and I usually spend New Year’s Eve with family and friends. This year will be no different. Spending time eating, chatting, and lots of boards games to help keep each other awake til the stroke of twelve!
I have family flying in from oversees to spend the Holidays. I will surprise them by taking them to Times Square for New Years! I will be my first NYE in the city!
It’s my daughter’s 20th Bday so whatever she wants to do that day, thats what im doing 🙂

I performed a wedding for an awesome couple on 11/11/11 & they have invited me to their home for a NYE/30th birthday party for the new wife. So much fun to now continue to be a part of their life. New year, new friends!
New Year’s will be spent at home with my family. We always celebrate with champagne toast at midnight 😉 I love Nivea! I even have my family oversees send over Nivea sensitive for baby line for my children’s skin. It truly is the best wish the would sell that line in the USA 😉

I don’t have any plans but I am thinking of offering babysitting services to those going out so I can have a little money to recouperate after the holidays!
Each new year’s eve my husband and I and our kids campout on our living room floor together – each hour opening bags with activities for the hour – from baking something together, to games to play, to special shows to watch! We have a great time – and last year our two oldest even stayed up until midnight – while we snored away beside them! 🙂

I stay at home for new years eve, it’s safe, it’s fun and I don’t have to worry about driving! I usually have my closest buddies over we have wine, play games, watch movies, and then then we watch the ball drop and use good ole fashion pots and pans at midnight to make noise. Continue the fun, have a slumber party – everyone is happy and safe – we enjoy a nice breakfast together and lounge around for hte rest of the day!

On New Years Eve,
I will be at home with my two teenage children and husband. my husband (46) is recently disabled and is unable to walk far distances. He has to use a power chair to go anywhere out of the house. We will be celebrating our lives together and are thankful that we have another year together to look forward to.

I’m not quite sure what we’ll be doing for New Year’s Eve this year. We usually make plans after we get through Christmas. I’m thinking a quiet night at home this year.
We will goto our local community center and they do a $25 per person all you can drink and eat apps. They do ask for you to bring something but still its a grest time and less than half the price of other deals out there. And in northern NJ we don’t want to drive far on New Years.

New Year’s Day is my hubby’s birthday! We will spend it at home with our boys, hopefully toasting in the new year with the Welch’s “wine” that the boys love so much!
Unfortunately I work on NYE… but I look forward to going home right after and spending it watching TV with my guinea pig!
Spending time with my family. I usually go out with friends, but this year it’s all about family. I haven’t seen my parents for a while now, and thankfully they are here for the holidays. Then after New Years, they go back to Sydney.
I’ll be spending the night at home recovering from xmas week with the family, pondering the first year w/o dad – and preparing for work…. really – it’s not as sad as it sounds. Good things will happen 2012~
My New Years plan includes getting a smooch from my new boyfriend after watching the ball drop in Times Square!
I will be traveling back to my HomeTown to celebrate with my family!
Haven’t any rock solid plans yet. Probably spending it with family or heading out to church for midnight service.

Each year for the past ten years I have sat at home and brought in the New Year online with my online soul mate. We share a glass of wine and watch the ball drop together. For New Year’s Eve we plan to go to my husband’s family’s home and have a family party with food and singing and fun and then count down the new year and toast each other. We will be ringing in our 24th Anniversary which is on January 1st.

We always stay at home with our boys and have a family fun night. We have a great dinner, play games, watch movies…etc. My boys try and make it to midnight but usually don’t…lol (they are 10 and 8). It is a perfect night and I can’t imagine spending the last night of the year with anyone else:)

New Years Eve is my birthday. We always stay home and my husband cooks a big dinner. Then we watch each hour as different parts of the world celebrate the New Year. It is always a great night. And somewhere in there we have birthday cake! We also play lots of board games and have a great family night! It is always a night to remember.

The Whole Family is getting together to celebrate a special boy’s 11th birthday. it is a yearly tradition.

We have a tradition, since I was pregnant with my first daughter 9 years ago:
I make a HUGE dinner and then my husband and I watch a movie on the couch together. Every year we pick a movie we wanted to see but never got to. We had started with the Lord of the Rings Trilogy (one each NYE) and then watched the Pirates of the Carribean movies… and a bunch in-between…last year was Inception. Since we have 2 kids now, we need to make sure they get to bed early so we can time the movies to end before the ball drops! Best night in ever!

We will be staying home. Bad economy has hit our family hard, as it has with many, and we simply cannot afford to do anything other than stay at home. Years ago we used to buy chinese food every new years eve and enjoy some homemade appetizers & desserts with family. praying one day God will bless us with the means to do this again one year. thanks!
