As some of you may know, I had a bad day yesterday finding out that half my freezer contents had to be tossed from a broken freezer. And, well, this shopping trip (s) made up for it. How can I be upset when I feel so blessed to be able to take advantage of these great deals. I can’t!
For this deal I paid $35.65 out of pocket after using $11 in catalinas to start and I have $20 catalinas left. I bought 5 lbs of Tilapia and 10 lbs of pork as well. Fortunately, although my, now broken, chest freezer was 3/4 full, my regular freezer was pretty empty so I do have room to store these new purchases of meats and Smart Ones. But, I have to be careful how much freezer items I buy until I can save up for a new freezer.

Also, just wanted to let you know that my ShopRite was fully stocked of Fantastik for this shopping trip. I would not have purchased so much if there were only a small amount. But, since being out early in the week, they had filled an end cap. And, what am I doing with all that Fantastik anyway? First I’ll be putting them in my stockpile, which has none left, and then giving some to my mom and some to my daughter at college.
I have to tell you, I haven’t done a trip like this in a long time and it felt soooo good to get some things built back up in my stockpile as well as a great opportunity to add to my donation box. What fun! 😉
