Negativity is all you hear everywhere but if you take a walk and really look… there’s a stranger holding a door open for you, or a person picking up something you dropped as you are rushing around a store because you just got out of work and are trying to get home to make dinner, there is that one person who will stop and ask if you are ok when the everyday stress of life is written all over your face! I am very grateful for my sister and her family. When I had my daughter Breanna in January she was there every night to make us dinner and help me with my baby. When it was time for me to go back to work she offered to help take care of Breanna 2 days since she works from home 2 days. With me working from home 2 days and my husband one day from work we are able to take care of Breanna ourselves without having to bring her to day care. This is so important to me because I really want to spend time with her since they grow up so fast and it is so crucial that we have a bond so that she can come to us whenever she is in trouble in the future.

I am grateful for my daughter. Today she showed me that I have raised a wonderful young lady. Today is her 18th birthday and all her friends have forgotten about her. She has had numerous parties for friends, brought them balloons, gifts and just been there for them. Today not one friend reciprocated to her. Not a card, not a balloon, cake, nothing. They were all too busy. However she kept a smile all day on her face and was just happy to be with her family. I know inside it must have hurt her but she never complained or acted like a spoiled brat. So proud of my girl. When I saw the smiley basket I thought of her smiles and thought how great this would be to give her.
Happy 18th Birthday to your daughter

Thankful for so much. But in seeing this basket, it reminds me how thankful I am for my son’s 3rd grade teacher. Her “theme” is smilie faces. She tries to start each day with the kids with a smile. She gets my son and I know he’s going to have a great year thanks to her!

I’m grateful for my 10 year old daughter, Chloe. 10 years ago this Sunday she saved my life. Literally.
I am thankful first and foremost for my 99 year old mother. She was widowed at age 42, left to raise my sister, 15 and myself, 10, by herself. She was unskilled, hadn’t worked due to my father being ill and when he died she took over his business, paid someone to drive her on his route until she learned to dry (she’s blind in one eye so it wasn’t easy for her) and pushed onward to make a good life for us girls. She sacrificed alot for us, while at the same time, showing us that she wouldn’t be taken advantage of. She babysat when she had no other plans…..she told us that when we had children it was our responsibility to watch them, not hers. She said if she was free she’d help us out, if she had plans, we were on our own to find babysitters for our kids. I think this has been a well taught lesson by her to us and to our children and grandchldren. You must go on, even when you think you can’t, do what you can for your children and others without giving up your rights to be an individual who has her own needs. I’m thankful she’s the strongwilled, determined woman that she is. She could feel sorry for herself at times, but if she does, she doesn’t let others see it. She suffers in silence. I must repeat that I’m so thankful for having her in our lives.
I am grateful for my loving family. Together we can take on the world with whatever it throw our way!
I am grateful for all the men and women who have served or is serving our country! With out them we would not have the freedom we have to day! Thank you to all of you!
I am grateful for so many people in my life. I have been blessed with a great family that are also my best friends! Then I was blessed with two of the best kids ever. My boys and my family are my life and I couldn’t ask for anything better.
I am most greatful for my boyfriend Steven who after 10 years together has never faltered to be by my side. Even after being diagnosed with a horrible life threatening illness he has been there for me and our children.
Even after I was diagnosed *

I am thankful for my wonderful husband. He picks me up when I am down, holds my hand, listens to my problems, hugs my worries away, and rescues me when I do something stupid!!
I am grateful for my mom. Although she has been through alot in the past year(passing of my brother, spinal surgery, flooding), she is always there for me and my family.

I am grateful for my marriage – our anniversary is tomorrow 9/10/11 (wow, just noticed the date there); we’ve been together for 28 years now. Even though he told me how long that is is days, hours, and minutes, it still feels like yesterday when he gave me that big old class ring. Praise God for marriage and all the peace and goodness it brings!
I’m blessed with sooo many wonderful people in my life! I am most grateful for my son, he is my miracle baby (in more ways than one) so I am grateful for him each & every day!!
I am grateful for my 92 year old grandmother. She has been a true example of a Christian woman. She has lived through the Great Depression, she had two sons in the Vietnam war, she lost her husband and is the most positive, fun, energetic 92 year old I have ever met. She is a loved, honored and respected member of our family
I am grateful for everything in my life right now. My kids are amazing and they make me realize that the little things in life aren’t a big deal and to appreciate today.

I’m greatful for my wonderful husband and children. Also for the safety of my brother in law and sister in law. They were recently flooded out of their home due to hurricane Irene. They lost everything but likely they are safe.
I’m grateful for my dreams. Ever since I was little I dreamed that I would be living the life I now have. My husband is a wonderful father and partner, we make a great team, and he keeps me laughing daily. My two daughters, who were next to impossible to conceive, are miracles and healthy and thriving and just amazing in every way. We have a home, pets, supportive friends and family, and every day we are grateful to be living this life.
I am grateful for my grandmother. She is always there for me physically, emotionally, and intellectually. If I ever feel down, or have great news, or just want to talk she is the one I call day or night. I can always count on her!
I am grateful for being able to see my son walk for the first time today. Since I work most night, I miss some “first”. My son make this world brighter, and after a long time of trying, he is here and loved so very much. Besides my husband and family, Chase is whom I am most grateful for!
I am grateful for my Mom and would love to give her this basket.
The person most deserving of this basket is my brother Brian. Brian has spent his entire life in pain as he endured many surgeries throughout his life just to hopefully walk one day. He is legally blind and has neurological damage from complications that happened at birth. Nine years ago he was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Throughout it all he has never once complained about his situation and is one of the kindest gentlest people I have ever met. I am grateful that I have him in my life as he humbles me and encourages me to strive to be a better person. One of his favorite things are yellow smily faces. This basket couldn’t go to a more deserving person.
Without a doubt I am grateful for my two precious daughters and my amazing husband. They give me reason to wake up every morning! They make my life complete and I am a better person for having them in my life!!
I have saved 100’s of dollars following your wise words and direction.
I am grateful for my family and friends. If it weren’t for my friends or family during tough times not sure how we would have gotten by.
Im gratful for my kids and what I can provide for them be it time or just a walk to the park!
I am grateful to the person who came up with couponing. It has enabled me to spend more time with my family by saving me money…
I am grateful for my 2 boys who keep me young and laughing all the time and my husband who is my best friend and partner in life…My life never has a dull moment. I couldn’t imagine life without them…
I am greatful for my family and friends…and most of all my husband who has taken a big step in joining the army and bettering our life!
I am so VERY THANKFUL for my husband. He is a firefighter… and as we approach the 10 year anniversary of 9/11, it is a reminder of how brave all that lost their lives were on that day. Being a fireman is a calling and passion….I am a PROUD FIREFIGHTER’s WiFE!!!! 😉
I am grateful for my husband and kids. No other man could handle such a woman as myself. He know when to love me, when to listen to me, and when to walk away from me.
My kids I am grateful for because they take life experience to a whole different level. Levels of joy and happiness, frustration, and anxiety. But in the end, along with my Heavenly Father, they are my everything.
I am grateful for my wonderful husband who is so kind and compassionate. He is strong enough to keep us safe and provided for but tender enough to cry at Opie on Andy Griffith. He is ever patient with me and my mid-life moodiness! I am so glad that God led us to each other – even though it is late in life.
