He taught us the value of a dollar, how to reapir cars, houses, anything really! And he taught me the value of a coupon! I remember going to A&P with him in the early 80s and had a shoebox with index dividers and all his coupons filed and ready! Love you for all you taught me Dad!

I work for the local Easter Seals branch. Easter Seals is a non-profit that provides services and work to children and adults with disabilities. The consumers that I interact with on a daily basis have a huge positive influence on my life. They remind me to not sweat the small stuff, laugh often, and to enjoy every minute of life!
My children definitely. Before them I focused on things that I now know are irrelevant. They make everyday worthwhile.
My family! All I want to do is just be with them!
My father, he passed away almost 2 years ago from cancer but he always had a smile on his face and always stayed postive. He was friendly to everyone and everyone liked him. He treated everyone the way he wanted to be treated, even a stranger on the street, even if it was just to say hi.
My parents have always been my support, my fans, my cheerleaders and those that inspired spiratually. There success has helped me be a better person and has made me a good wife and mother.
My children are my life. I would do anything to protect and nurture them. They do get on my nerves sometimes but who’s kids dont? I just have to take a deep breath and look at their smiles and know that all will be ok.
My three children have made me a better person.
My Children are amazing they have changed my life in so many ways, everything that I do is for them!
My mom. She will always be there whether I need a break, a distraction, a straigtening out, or just a hug.

My husband and children. Without them who knows where I would be right now.
My daughter. She is so comfortable in her own skin and such a free, happy spirit. I hope she never changes. I wish I had 1/4 of her confidence and self accursedness when I was young.
My sister makes me a better person everyday. And she makes sure I stay fashionable!
My Beautiful Grandmother was my world until 2 years ago she passed away from Cancer at the age of 87. She inspired many lives. She was a Mother of 15 children and I am the oldiest of48 grandchildren. She never had much but she always said that Family was all she needed and I live by that everyday..
My children make my day brighter. They make me try my best. I want to show them all the wonderful things there are in the world! The make my day brighter by just allowing them to be kids as long as possible.
My nephew is the reason i get up everyday. He has autism and regardless of all the struggles that my family go through it is him that makes me smile and get through my days.
The person who has made a positive impact in my life is my lovely wife to be, Dominique. I came into her life just before she hit rock bottom and as a Christian brother, I opened her eyes up to the Lord to help her through those hard times. Even though I helped her, she is a positive impact in my life because she has shown me how to become a better man. She is a very humble spirit and a beautiful soul and out of all the people I know, she deserves to have the chance to eat at a place that makes her happy.
My adoptive mom has made a huge impact! She taught me the value of a woman and the strength that comes from tough times!
A very dear friend named Maria has stood by me through so much and has put up with a lot of shenanigans from me. I love her and she really blesses me!
My two kids brighten my day each and every day! No matter how bad my day has been when I look at them and they ask me “Mommy are you happy at me?” How can I not smile?! They make all the stresses of live worthwhile. I would love to take my little ones out for their favorite pancakes at IHOP!
The person who brings out the best in me would definitely be my husband! We have been married just over a year, and it gets better every day 🙂
My 3 year old always makes my day brighter, he is hilarious!
My mother has made a positive impact on my life but not for the typical reasons… My mom has a drinking problem and has battled with an on again/off again addiciton to cocaine. Because of her poor choices in life I lived with my aunt whenever times got bad. (Eventually my aunt was granted full custody.) I had to see my mother drunk and high as a young child and I have also witnessed her cut herself and sell her body on the streets of Atlantic City. She has been in and out of jail several times, in more often than out. I could go on and on but I think you get the idea.
The reason this “experience” had a positive impact on my life is that it has made me a stronger, more responsible individual. Although it may not have been an ideal environment for a child, and I would still like to see her get better; I believe that I have been able to make the proper decisions in life because I had someone to show me all the wrongs.
My little boy always makes me smile and cheers me. It amazes me that 1 year ago he had no words at all (at 3), now (thanks to pre-school and wonderful speech teachers), he a little chatterbox. And the things he comes out with are amazing!
My Mother she had a terminal illness that she fought without ever giving up and just enjoying everyday that she had with us.
Every time I take my grandmother (83) to a drs. appt. we go to IHOP either before or after the appt. depending on the time of the appt. She loves to go and get pancakes and it brightens her day like I haven’t seen in a while. Just yesterday she told me that she had just recently figured out that IHOP stands for International House of Pancakes. I really thought this was funny and cute. We have a “IHOP” run this wednesday as a matter of fact. I love my Grammy/IHOP time!!!!
My grandmother has made such a difference in my life! I can remember sleeping over her house most weekends when I was younger. She would get on her hands and knees playing pick up sticks and jacks all day with me.. button, button who’s got the button was another big game in her house. Unfortunately, she just passed away last week but lived a long, wonderful 97 years ago! Love you Gram!!
My Mom has made such a positive impact on my life. She will be gone 4 years at the end of August, the 7 years before that she fought colon cancer. Mom never gave up hope that she would beat this disease and live a long life with her family. My daughters, her grandaughters were her everything. She always wore a smile and never complained. The cancer went from her colon and traveled through her whole body all the way to her brain but she kept a smile on her face and never asked for people to feel sorry for her. If I could be half as strong as she was I know I will be a good person.
My 6th grade language arts teacher Mrs. Nancy Dalton! She taught me that giving up was not an option! She taught me to never surrender to fear! And she alson taught me to trust in myself!
My 18 yr old daughter megan. She started helping with foster pups at age 14. Next thing she asked us if we could foster Dillon a 6 mo old puppy that nobody else wanted to foster. We took him in almost 4 yrs ago thanksgiving week. Our family has continued to foster pups since. We are almost at 200 lives saved from kill shelters all because of Megan stepping up first. We had mommas with pups and a momma give birth here too. I am so proud of Meg for volunteering all these years. We foster with Purrs N Pups animal rescue
My mom is my inspiration. She raised me and my sister as a single mom, then put herself through college at the age of 45. Now she is raising my sisters two kids. She is an amazing woman and I will be blessed to become even half the woman she is.
My mother has had the biggest influence and impact in my life. She has been supportive of me my entire life whether or not she felt I made the right decisions in my life. Love you Mom!
God -Has been and always will be the most positive influence in my life. With times the way they are these days, kindness can be the most positive thing to give everyone and anyone today. Best of all no coupon need to give or recieve. !!!
my husband, my children, my family, my pastor, and most of all my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
My 7 Year old daughter really makes my day brighter. She is always a positive person to those around her. She sees the best in all people. Willing to help in time of need and loves collecting coupons to save money. Her 8th birthday is July 30 and I would love to ‘brighten’ her day the IHOP way!
Thanks
my kids would LOVE to go to IHOP!!
all those wonderful autistic children I work with on a daily basis. also their very loving parents. I am blessed. What a breakfast group this will be.
My children can always make my day brighter. they can always put a smile on my face no matter what my mood is !
My husband, first and foremost, is my greatest influence. We have been married 15 years & they have been the best years of my life. So many of our friends and family members have gotten divorce after divorce and it makes our hearts so heavy. We just reflect on the good times and learn from the bad times. The two best things he has given me are my two wonderful children, Noah is 12 & Maria is 7. They make my husband & I smile & laugh every single day!
Definitely my husband. He amazes me every day with what a great and loving father he is!
My kids of course, even on there worse cranky day it only takes 1 smile to brighten my mood. And my husband for with out him they wouldn’t be here!!
My husband has been a positive influence on my life. He can always make me laugh and puts up with my “crazy couponing”! I would love to treat him once since he is always treating me.
I have 3 boys who are the loves of my life. Honestly I never saw myself as a mother but now I look at their little faces and I know that God knew better than I did. I couldn’t imagine my life without them. Love their 3 different personalities and how they manage to make me laugh every single day. I am very blessed to be able to stay home with them and watch them grow and turn into little men <3!!
My daughter has definitely had a positive impact on my life. I was heading down the wrong path and when I found out I was pregnant, that gave me the strength and will to do the right thing. I always say that my daughter saved my life.
My Mother she is amazing and has helped formed me to be who I am today.
Who makes my day brighter?!
My sister Juliana!
Unfortunatly, she lives thousands of miles away ( in Brazil), BUT every single time I am homesick, I know that if I just give her a call we’ll remember the old days…
We laugh on the phone…
We lift each other up…
We pray for each other…
And most of all, we remember that we will always be best friends and we are only one call away from a brighter day!
I love my sis Juliana!!!
My 7 month old son. Makes me smile everyday and savor everyday.
I would have to say all the children I surround myself with day by day. I babysit three amazing girls in the morning, work in a daycare during the afternoon, and coach two cheerleading teams at night. I surround myself with these amazing children who can make me crazy but brighten my day no matter what. Children are amazing in so many different ways. Figuring this out by only being 20 I say was the best thing that could of happened to me.
My Mother. She has taught me right from wrong and I have learned how to be a better mom because of her.
My best friend’s parents, Ross & Erna, always made me feel like a part of the family especially when I was having trouble at home.
My mom is my inspiration. She and I are so close and seem more like best friends most of the time. She is an amazing person and has an honest heart. All I have to do is think about her watching me, and my decisions will be the best possible. Love you Mom!
My husband makes my day, every day! After my good morning kiss, I get fresh grinded, fresh brewed espresso that he makes for me!! Now that’s love! <3
My children inspire me to be both the mother and father I never have!!! They are my world. They motivate me daily!
My daughter’s Aunt Nancy.Hadn’t seen her for over 20 years, because my daughter’s father and I are no longer together.Found her name on Facebook and she welcomed me as if the last time I saw her was yesterday.Went to visit it her and I felt so relaxed with her and her family. What a wonderful feeling. And after all these years, her kids still call me Aunt Donna.
Everyday is different for me. My husband, my dog and my kids are the bright lights in my life. but…. my grandchildren are the shining stars! yesterday my 2 year granddaughter Laila picked up the phone and it rang to our house. Out of our conversation I was sang “Home on the range.” It doesn’t get any better than that.
My husband is also my best friend. He is an amazing father and I’m grateful to have him in my life. We’ll be celebrating 7 years of married bliss July 31st.
It is hard to choose between my husband and children. I fell and broke both arms at the same time. For several months, my hubby and kids had to do everything, include, shower and feed me. How can you live without that?? They deserve a return breakfast and IHOP would be a wonderful place to do it!!
Absolutely my Mom. You could not ask for anyone better. If I had half her energy, kindness, and patience I would be very blessed!
my husband. he’s helped me become a better me.
ps…i {HEART} ihop!!! so yummy
the last FOUR times I went to IHOP the service was SO AWFUL the only way I’d go back is if someone paid me to.
My daughter is the person who makes my day brighter. Although I’m married now i was a single mom for so many years and it’s because of her that i can honestly say i was never depressed or unhappy about the struggles i went through. She’s been my back bone through it all and even saved my life once. She’s turning 17 now and I’m so greatful for having such a kind heart and wonderful daughter who not only is my little girl but my bestfriend… (and my shopping buddy) 🙂
Definitely my 7 month old daughter. Life is so much easier and harder, softer and sweeter, more fun and laugh-filled – just all around better when you get to be the Mom of an amazing little lady.
My husband brings out the best in me. I thank God every day for him!
My boyfriend. It’s been the best 2+ years of my life. He’s a positive influence, always making me laugh and smile. I can’t wait to see him after work each day; we hate being apart for too long. On our weekends, we love to go to IHOP for meals and do other fun things out. Thank god for the free meals they send to our emails on our birthday and anniversaries 🙂 We’d love to go back again soon!
My parents made the biggest positive impact on my life. We didn’t have much growing up, but they always put my 3 brothers and I before them, and raised us to be kind, good hearted people, who work hard and take nothing for granted.
My girlfriend definitely! we’ve been together for nearly 2 1/2 years, and when i was going through really tough times. She stuck with me thick and thin. She is easily the most positive impact in my life and i’m glad i get to spend everyday with her.
My husband is my everyday sunshine. He is so
attentive to me and my son. It amazes me everyday
that he is able to not only provide and care for us, but
that he does it all with a smile on his face. He
Is an amazing man and has always put us
before himself…he is the love of my life and
a constant cheerleader for me. He also happens
to love IHop french toast… and since he has
to bear my cooking (which is terrible!) this
would be a great gift for him 🙂
my mom is the best person in my life. she is wonderful. hope i can win so i can take her out to breakfast
Growing up, my grandmother (when she was alive) gave unconditional love and supported me in all my academic and extra curricular activities, allowing me to mold into the rounded person I am today. The Franciscan brothers, too, are the perfect role models and mentors that are needed beyond the family circle. Today, my softball teammates are my extended-chosen family encouraging me to bring out my best on and off the field. On the field, pushing myself to do my ultimate best even in 100+ degrees and flowing the excitement and esteem over to the next work day to handle any deadline or task that comes my way!
My 14 month old son, Colin! He has changed my life forever. I never knew how strongly I could love before he came along.
My best friend Chrissy we meet in fifth grade and have been friend throw moves and marrages. I can always count on her to be there for me. I don’t need to talk to her everyday but I know she is only a phone call away if I need her. I’m going away for a girlfriend weekend in August with her. I would use the girft card to buy here breakfast and tell her how much our friendship means to me since we meat in fifth grade.
My husband, he is a great man, husband, and father.
There are so many people who affect our lives in meaningful ways on a regular basis, even if we don’t realize it. The person who has positively affected my life the most is my sister Betsy. Not only has she taught me what is means to be a sister, friend and adult. She has taught me what it means to be a strong, independent woman. She has built a well respected, well paying career from a part time job, she has been the single parent of two little girls for several years, actively volunteers for her daughter’s school and she has bought a beautiful house by herself. She has tried to teach her children what it means to work hard, give to others and live life to the fullest. What she hasn’t realized is that she has taught me all those things as well, her little sister!
Definitely my 15 months old baby boy! He is the joy of my life!
My mom Joni. She raised 11 of us kids and made it a point to teach each and every one of us everything she knows. Now that I have two daughters myself I realize the sacrifices that she made and I didn’t realize it until now because she made it look so effortless. She is an angel on earth here to steer us in the right direction and anyone who comes in contact with her will tell you the same. Even with all the irons she had in the fire if ANYONE came to her with a problem she would always make time to find a solution and give them a little lesson in faith at the same time. She is superwoman!
My daughter, who’ll turn 1 this sunday, and my wonderful husband who sent me flowers last tuesday for our 8th anniversary, make my day shine bright, every day!!!
My two year old son Asher never fails to make my day brighter. From the moment he crawls into bed with me in the morning to kiss me and talk to me, telling me things like, “Mama, you handsome.” and “Wake up, Mama, the clouds are bumping!” until he feeds his fish, kisses the cats, his Papa, and me, he is a ray of absolute sunshine. I can count on him to make me forget whatever stresses are plaguing me that day as he urges me to join him in pretending to be an airplane or dancing to a silly song of his making. He reminds me to take joy in the simple things in life such as blowing dandelion fluff or making pancakes.
My daughter is the person who makes my day brighter. Although I’m married now i was a single mom for many years and it’s thanks to her that i can honestly say that i don’t recall a day where i was depressed or stressed about my struggles as a single mom. She’s always been there for me and has even saved my life once. My daughter has made me laugh through the hardest of times, smiled at the silliest things and she’s even made me cry by the sweet things she’s said or done for me. My little girl is turning 17 this year and although not so little anymore she’s always be my sunshine & my bestfriend…. ( and my shopping buddy) 🙂
After 10 years and three beautiful boys later, my husband has been nothing but a supportive, loving husband and unbelievable father to our boys! I can always count on him for anything (even printing coupons for me at work 😉 ). We love IHOP!
My son is the one who brightens my day and has a positive impact in my life. He is the most amazing little 5 yr old boy and keeps mommy going when she is ready to throw in the towel!
This is a hard one…Jesus, my husband, my kids & my mom were the firsts to come to mind but to be a little different after reading some of the other comments: My pastor Tom, he’s battled 2 rounds of cancer and has managed to keep God first and encourage & love everyone around him. He’s been married for over 30 years and they still act like newlyweds. It’s refreshing and inspiring. And because of the way he walks out his own life it’s It’s impacted mine, my husband’s, my children’s and my mom’s (we all go to the same church haha) He’s a really good friend.
My children brighten up my day. They are always full of hugs and kisses! They say so many funny things too. They sure are a blessing! :o)
My son makes my day, week, month, year, he is the joy of my life. He will be graduating in 2012 and will be joining the Air Force right out of high school, he knows who he is and what he wants to be and makes me very proud every day.
My 88 year old Grandfather makes my day brighter !!
My husband Brian makes me smile every day – he is the calm to my storm and the ying to my yang! I love him with all my heart. He picks me up when I am down and knows just what to say.
My son has been a huge inspiration to me. Having him when I just turned 19, he made me mature faster, grow up quicker and head in the right direction. He made me strive and determined for a bright future ahead. I love my son!!
Would love for it to be a hubby and I kind of day. We RARELY get a babysitter so on a trip to LEXINGTON, KY maybe we can go on a DATE, did I say DATE, I don’t think I have been on one of those in about 10 yrs! LOL What would we do with ourselves? LOL EVEN WORSE, WHAT WOULD I WEAR!!! 🙂 Thank you for this giveaway WOULD LOVE TO WIN!!!! ♥
My husband keeps me getting out of bed each and every day. He has given me the family of my dreams (3 beautiful children) and even changed jobs to move us back to New Jersey so that we could be with our families. He has given me a beautiful home, and works hard each and everyday so that I can stay home with our children. He is my life, my love and my breath of fresh air. When we were younger and had no children, we used to go to IHOP in Newport, RI almost every Saturday. Once we had children, those visits became less and less. It is our favorite date spot!
I think it depends on the day. My list includes God, my parents, my husband, and my kids.
My great husband!
My mother who was a single mother!
My parents. even though growing up in lower middle class ( did not know that as a kid) my parents were able to provide a a great enviroment for my brother and myself. neither parent ever drank, and my dad worked 2 job for many years, and even had time to assist with coaching football. shows money does not matter. it is all abuot a loving family.
My family is surely what brings out the best in me! First my husband and love of my life who has been my amazing love and supporter through soo much in my life. Then my 3 wonderful kids that God has blessed me with. Everyday, no matter what the day could bring, there is nothing better than our family’s bedtime prayer and then hugs and kisses. That is good and brightens my day just thinking about it 🙂
The person who had the most influence on me was my paternal grandmother, Sylvia Grossman. She came here from Poland to escape the pogroms in 1916 and married the love of her life, a man 18 years older, in 1918. She was a businesswoman when her husband died and she was about 43 in about 1943. She owned real estate and ran small businesses and always had ‘enough’ and was liked by those she did business with and those she was a landlord for. Tiny woman, but assertive before it became popular. She knew 8 languages, including Esperanto, which would have been an international language except for WW2. Growing up, weekends were always for family and birthdays extra special.
Whenever times have been tough for me, with work, relationships, going through divorce, child issues, all I have to do is think of her and her strength for my own strength.
My son who is going to be a senior in high school this year. I am so proud of all of his accomplishments. He is a great athlete, musician, and he is at the top of his class. And with all of that he still finds time for clubs and volunteering.
I make my day brighter. I come to learn that “I” control my destiny and have the power to control my day regardless of any issues/drama that surrounds me. Every morning, I wake up and promise myself that it WILL be a good day and that I will not let anyone bring me down. Self love is by far the best love 🙂
My children are the ones that have made a positive impact on my life. I have 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy. They have really opened my eyes to life. They are my angels.
My father is my rock and inspiration. He was a stay at home dad for a while, while my mom was working late nights. Those times built such a strong bond and I am forever grateful. Also, cereal for dinner (which I loved), I believe helped make me grow to the over 6 feet I am today, hahaha. love you dad!!
My 19 month old son. He has taught me patience and to slow down and enjoy all of the wonderful things that happen every day! There is not a day that goes by that I don’t Thank God for letting me be his mommy!
I am gratful to have my husband in my life. He has been through alot in his life and he always looks at the positive things in life. He always looks for the good in people no matter what.
My husband he is one of this people who just doesn’t give up and loves his family so much, 2 years ago he broke his hand in 3 places and still sat out side overnight to get my son a Ps3 for Xmas just 2 days after surgery ( aginst my wishes of course) he came from humble means and always wants our kids to grow up better then what we did and he always is encouraging of me and my dreams he makes a way put of no way and he never judges he will give u the shirt off his back and because of that it makes me wanna be a better wife mother and person I’m so luck to have him
My children (10 and 6) brighten my day. After a long day they still are the only two people that can bring a smile to my face. I could not imagine my life without them, and enjoy every day with them.
My kids make my day brighter with their random unsolicited “I love you’s,” hugs, and kisses!
My girlfriend makes my day brighter. No matter what, she is always happy and cheerful! 🙂
My children, they are the best thing I could ever ask for. I didn’t know true love until I was blessed with them.
My mother, she is the most sweetest and most giving person I know.
The person that makes my day brighter hands down is my mom. I could write a thousand words explaining her to you but it would be useless. There aren’t even words in exsistance that can describe her 🙂
Jesus is my inspiration. I strive to be more like Him and less like myself each day.
My small group of friends have made the biggest impact in my life. They’re there for me in the best of times and the worst of times. No matter how many times I say nasty things to them, they keep coming back. I’ve not done much of anything as a thank you. An IHOP trip would be just wonderful.
My mom has made a very positive impact in my life. She is a very strong woman dealing with my dad passing away from diabetes after 50 years of loving marriage. She decided to remain in my dad’s country, Haiti, facing the struggles and daily challenges coming ahead in honor of his lasting memory. The distance between us has not affected our mother daugther relationship as we call one another several times per week. I miss seeing my mother on a regular basis but I cherish our growing bond. She is everything to me.
My kids always brighten my day. My daughter just completed her first year away in college and it’s great to see her home for the summer. I forgot how much fun we used to have. Mother-daughter bonding is one of my favorite past times. As for my son, he is such a comedian. And the best part is, he doesn’t try to be, it’s just his personality. Long stressful day at work? No problem, I’ll be home soon.
This would have to be my wonderful wife!!!! She is such a strong woman who is not only a great wife but also an awesome mom to our two kids! Without her I would be lost in a dark forest!!!! She stands behind me no matter what happens and always supports all my crazy ideas, and some are out there lol!!! I love her and she brings truth to the statement…..”Behind every good man is a GREAT woman”!
Plus she loves IHOP!
My 3rd son has made the most impact on me since he was born nearly 4 years ago. He taught me that anything is possible and miracles really do happen. From 1 lb 11 oz to 40 lbs and perfect. At the time, I didn’t believe in anything.
My husband, of 5 years – Lover and best friend of 12, if you include when we started dating! We met at the age of 16, and I was immediately addicted to him. The bad boy everyone loved and wanted (except my parents. haha) We lived in a ridiculously small town where everyone was the same. And he was completely different, the new kid in town. His hair a little longer, pants a little more baggy, Ralph Lauren cologne that I can still smell today (although he has upgraded to D&G). After high school he joined the Marine Corp, did 1 tour in Iraq, and couldn’t wait to go back, but he never got the chance so he finished his eight years in the corp and we were on to another adventure. We rode, like many others, the unemployment train for about 7 months. At that point he decided contracting was the only way for us (and our two very small children) to make it. He’s such a great man! Not afraid to go to new places or try new things. He’s currently working in Afghanistan as a civilian firefighter. Over the past 12 years he’s opened my eyes to so much and given me a chance to try so many different things that I’m almost certain I would have never tried had he not entered my life. From little things like music and movies and different foods, to larger more important things like the great friends we have from all over the world. Before I was 21 we had road-tripped together, or alone going to see the other, over 3000 miles. Now, Our journey of exploring outside the US will begin with a special trip for two planned for this year to Dubai. He’s sacrificing his time with me and our children for the time being so that we may live comfortably. He’s my bestfriend and I love him more than anything in the world & will always be greatful for everything he’s ever done, big and small.
My family..as a whole brings out the best in me. Being together reminds me that I am more alive…stronger…happier and healthier with them beside me than I’d ever be without them. God blessed my heart, my home and my life with a basket full of boys who defend me – blaze trails for me – treat me like “carrying” things is definitely not my job – and love on mama like there is no tomorrow. I feel so grateful. 🙂
My classroom full of kids everyday makes me happy. I don’t see it as I “go to work” everyday. I “go to school.” My students teach me how to laugh and be the caring person I am. If I didn’t teach, I don’t think my life would be as wonderful as it is now.
My husband has made a positive impact in my life. We are complete opposites so when I am upset about a situation, he always has a positive way of looking at it. He is the “Ying to my Yang” and the love of my life. We might not like the same movies, food, games, or hobbies but he completes me 🙂
My family makes my day. I have five children who always come up with something each day that either challenges me or makes me laugh. I feel so lucky to have some much love around me and feel blessed to have each one of them. They all bring something special to my life. My husband is 100% supportive of my decision to be a stay at home mom and continues to help out at home everyday. He tells coworkers how hard it is to me a mom who stays home with the kids and realizes the challenges and sacrifices in takes.
My 21 year old daughter who is voluntering again this summer on an Indian Reservation is ND. She sends updates and today I got one. It makes me cry (happy tears) to hear what she is doing and how much good she and the rest of the chuch are doing there. She is amazing kid and I recently read a letter she wrote years and years ago and she said I am going to change the world. I do believe she will!
My two boys have definitely made a difference in me. They have taught how NOT to be selfish and I would do anything in this world for them. I finally know how to put people before myself and it’s because of my two baby boys!
My parents are truly wonderful and an inspiration to me.
My husband and puppies. They are the meaning of home…and make coming home from work everyday great.
My two sons are amazing! My 3yo makes me laugh every single day and I love his little surprise kisses! Ditto on the husband! He’s a great husband and AMAZING father! I really don’t know what I would do without my boys.
Way too many people. Thanking God for all of them. God, my husband, mom, son, siblings, and my church family have all impacted me for the better. Can’t thank God enough for the grace thats been extended to me though all of them.
my children brighten my day, every morning my kids wake me up and it makes my whole day! If it werent for them im not sure where i would be,theyre my world!
Everyone in my family!! I can’t single just one out!
My father and husband. They both taught me to be myself and how to be a better person and not worry about what everyone else thinks! I married at 19, so for me this was an important message. I am now 31 and still married!
My husband, Michael, makes all of my days brighter. We have been married for over 5 years, and have (so far) three kids! He is so kind and thoughtful, always going out of his way to try and make me happy. He loves to surprise me with flowers or trips to get a pedicure, or my favorite snacks. He’s the best…
My husband has made the most positive impact on my life. As an active duty soldier he selflessly serves our country and never complains about what he has to do or where he has to go. He has taught me how important it is to enjoy each moment we have with those we love and to never take anything we have for granted.
The one person i would have said would be my mother. Unfortunately she passed on last Sept. I havent always made friends easily especially since moving to Florida. but she has always been my best friend and i still find myself talking to her when i am getting upset or sad. Thankfully i have two wonderful kids and a amazing husband who are there for me and can always make me smile.
My boyfriend! He is always there for me and helps me without even asking. We have been so busy with our new house and he never complains. I couldn’t get by without him! He loves IHop! Taking him out to a surprise meal would be a great way to thank him for being so wonderful.
My mom was a positive impact in my life. I am a stronger person because of her.
A lady at my church who is the best mother and person I know. Her name is Elizabeth and I really aspire to be the type of person she is.
My husband!… A former Marine that never ceases to amaze me!!!
My Heavenly Father is my biggest inspiration. Through his love for all of us, I have learned to love through difficult times, and his word is what reinforces not only my faith, but my day to day living. Without his love, his unconditional, sacrificial, everlasting love covering my family and myself, I would not be where I am today. Thank You Jesus!!! Nothing and no one in the natural could or ever will love us like he has and always will.
My partner,,,,we have sooooo much fun together and learn from each other(good and bad)….but in the end we become better people(i believe).
I’d have to say my mom–she spent 25 years of her life homeschooling us!
My husband for sure !
It’s honestly hard to pick one person for as my parents, my husband, my grandfather have all made huge impacts on my life. Though, I will say it has been my six year old son Ryan who truly makes every day worth living. I have never received so much joy seeing one person so happy. When he smiles, I smile. He is my world!
My grandma has been the most positive impact to me and everyone around her!! She is 84 years old but with a teenage heart and attitude. She has struggle so much in her life but always finds a reason to smile and love everyone. She even went skydiving when she was 81!! check her out on youtube: Ines 81
I know she’ll enjoy IHOP!
Out of all the people to choose from, I’m gonna say my daughter. She is just six weeks old and started smiling this week. Some mornings when I wake up to her cries, I’m SO tired, I wonder how I’m gonna get through the day on such little sleep. As soon as I look over her crib, she stops fussing and gives me the most precious smile that melts my heart. That smile makes me forget about sleep, and makes my day!
I would have to say my daughter makes my day brighter. She is always happy go lucky. She may only be 2.5 but she sure does know how to make me smile. She can read my emotions better than anyone . She can tell when I am upset or sad and it never fails she will do something silly to make me realize that nothing else matters but the love the we have for each other.
this would have to be my husband. he is not only a wonderful husband, but a great friend and also a great father. he has brought me so much happiness.
My Mom, she is my best friend! We go on vacations together and have a great time! She is always there for support and advice. She loves IHOP and I would love to be able to take her there on her 75th birthday with the $50 gift card!
My four beautiful children, Tierra 5, Luca 4, Myla 3 and Gabriel who just turned 1! They drive me crazy but I could not imagine my life without them!
My partner Marie…a fine, loving person who puts up with & supports me un-conditionally throughout the years.
The person who brings out the best in me would absolutely be my best friend Kristina. She has been there for me since we were 9 years old! While we don’t get to see each other as much as we would like, just talking to her on the phone can completely bring me back to life, and snap me out of whatever bad mood i’m in. I would love to get together and share some breakfast with her! We love IHOP!
Hands down my kids! They are the reason for everything! They are wonderful!
My friend Jennifer has been an amazing influence in my life. She is a great friend and a leader in my church. She is a wonderful mother and caregiver to all of the children she is in contact with. Her attitude is always upbeat and positive. I am truly inspired to be a better person by her!
My family! It would be very hard to pick just one person…. Everyone has always been there, supported me and brought out the best in me. I love them all =)
My KIDS! They have tested me, made me crazy…but above all have made me realize what it means to love unconditionally! They make my heart smile even when my face can’t, if that makes sense. It is hard to explain, but it is the most comforting feeling! XO
My Son’s 3rd Grade Teacher – She is an angel among us! She has a zest for life and it is contagious for the children & their families. She makes learning fun & cool. She is an inspiration for all!
My boyfriend’s younger sister. She is a single mom and is working very hard to make the best life she can for her son.
My family for we stick together and when anyone of us need each other we stop, listen, and help. Such a great feeling knowing you have this at any time.
My husband. He is my biggest cheerleader and encourages me in everything that I do!
My baby! It doesn’t matter how sleep-deprived, grumpy, or stressed I am. The second she smiles at me in the morning, my life is heaven.
for me it’s my family…not just one person but the whole bunch! my kids and my husband each help me be free to be the complete person i am…from silly to sappy, and everything in between. sitting down at a meal together, we get to hear more about each others’ day and stay connected. love the premise for your contest! 🙂
My elder sister. She is the best and I have followed her steps to be a better person.
My daughter. When I see what a wonderful young woman she’s turning out to be. She is so compassionate for others and what they may be dealing with. She has the caring heart and wisdom far beyond her years. She is a positive force for the many people that she comes in contact with. She’s great!
My Aunt Cinda has been one of the greatest inspirations for me. I lost my mother before I had children of my own and she has been there for me and my children love the “Nana Cinda.”
My nephew Isaac makes my day brighter. He is 7 years old, and is the coolest little guy I know. His energy is never ending and he always says things that make you laugh. He’s not always had the easiest life up to this point, but to see him, you wouldn’t know it. He’s got one of the best personalities ever. I love my coloring and swimming buddy with all my heart! 🙂
My Husband. He has always calmed me down when anxious and supports me in whatever I do.
My husband has made the biggest positive impact on my life. He has always stood behind me and shown me that I can do anything. Thanks to him I went back to school, got my degree, and I’m now studying for my CPA exam. He has been there every step of the way and without him I would half the person I am today.
That person would be my 4 year old daughter. She always knows how to make me smile, especially with random I love you’s throughout the day. She can make even the hardest day feel like it’s nothing with a hug and a kiss!
I always looked up to my father. Unfortunately he passed at an early age of 52. That was 20 years ago. Not a day goes by that he is not in my thoughts.
Beyond immediate family it has to be a dear friend who bravely fought & lost the battle to cancer what lessons she taught to all of us about the spirit of being positive. Judy was the bravest & most positive person – will always recall her response when friends would say “Good to see you” & her face would light up as she responded “It’s good to be seen!” She is sorely missed but not forgotten.
For me the person who makes my day brighter is my husband. He is the one person who has shown me its ok to mess up and love me regardless.
My mom made a greatly positive impact on my life-although she passed away 24 years ago when I was just 19 she showed such courage and grace while she fought her battle with ovarian and breast cancer. I miss her every day and regret that my kids never met her. My daughter has also made a positive impact on my life-she has taught me tolerance and acceptance! And I can’t forget my Aunt Pat-she helped me so much when my mom died and when my husband died 5 years ago she was at the funeral wiping my children’s tears. 🙂
When my husband was 15 years old he lost both his parents. It was him and three sibilings. His aunt & uncle having 6 kids of their own took them in. They were one big loving family. Aside from raising their big family they were involved with church & the community. They were /are always doing volunteer work. Now that everyone is grown and with their own families they are still here loving & guiding us. They are the backbone of the family. Having them in our lives has been a postive influnence for all of us.
My Grandmother. She taught me how to love with my whole entire heart and how just one smile can brighten a single room. I’m extremely sad to say that we lost her in 2002 from breast cancer. She still lives on in all of our hearts though.
I believe that my parents have made me a better person. My father grew up working on other family members farms. They had to work everyday. Besides really going to a one room school house and walking a mile to get to school. (This is true). LOL. He grew up with an appreciation for all things in life especially his family. My mother grew up very poor with 12 children in her family. She worked hard picking blueberries in a great uncles blueberry fields. As did I startong at the age of 8 years old. We didn’t make much money but we worked hard for what we made. We were never lavished with material items but always had what we needed along with love. I believe that this has made me a better person that doesn’t live just to have material items but I am a person with values. I am happy.
Jerry and Starr make my day brighter. I always know I’m going to get a smile and attention when I come downstairs in the morning.
My parents. They are both very different people from one another and carry with them different mindsets, which results from a product of their individual experiences. They have taught me a lot through out the years, whether intentionally or not, and I know that I would not be the person I am today without my own experiences that they helped give me.
I can’t choose the ONE person who made a positive impact on my life. I would have to choose the FIVE people I share my life with everyday…My Husband and our 4 children!! Without them it would be very difficult to smile:)
my family hands down
My grandma is my inspiration. Unfortunately, she died a year ago at age 85. She grew up at a farm. She worked hard all her life, she cooked and helped her daughter with her 5 kids until she died. She almost never had time to rest and to relax. With 5 kids there was never “quiet time”. She almost never had time to sit and do something for herself. Every day she would get up at 6 am and go to sleep at 12 am.Even though she was already very tired and sleepy every night before going to sleep she had to say her rosary. During the day her only time to relax was when they played “Young the the Restless ” on TV (I am from Europe and we have this soap opera there too). During that time everone had to be quiet. Eventhough, she was 85 she was full of life. She would help us, all her grand children with everything. She didn’t have much but she still helped everyone as much as she could. Eventhough her life was never easy she never complained and every time I think about her I see her with smile on her face.
As corny as this may sound(and I’m really NOT buttering u up), is Cindy Livesey. You have made it easier and helped me be more knowkedgeable about couponing and that is a God send to me. thx
My four girls inspire me every day to be a better person and mom. When things are rough and stressing me out (which is pretty much all the time!), all it takes is a little giggle or smile from one of them to lift my spirits. They are the reason why my husband and I work so hard and I hope one day they appreciate us as much as we do them!
I think that my family has had the most positive impact on my life. Without them I would not be the person I am today.

My boys! I could be in a bad mood, and they do something cute or funny and it brightens my day! 🙂
My husband of 28 years!! I feel sad when he leaves for work in the morning and cannot wait until 7pm when he returns. He’s my best friend!!
My son has made the biggest impact on my life. He was born 9 weeks premature and since then has struggled with eating and physical development. He is an amazing little boy who has overcome so much and stays positive the whole time!
My grandmother Elizabeth is no longer with us but she made a huge impact in my life. She was a immigrant from Yugoslavia but coming from a Greek descent. I spent a lot of my childhood with her at her house in Elizabeth, NJ. She always introduced herself as Elizabeth from Elizabeth. (how funny is that!) She was the most unselfish person I have ever known and she would do anything for anyone else. She touched many lives and warmed everyone’s hearts that she spoke to. For these reasons, I named my first born daughter after her.
My boss actually makes my day brighter. Every time I see her, even when there is something critical that needs addressing, she is always very supportive of me and lets me know how much I am appreciated in what I contribute to the organization. It’s a very rare relationship that I feel grateful to have!
My late husband has made the greatest impact in my life. Just 1.5 years after we were married he was diagnosed with late stage Angiosarcoma, a rare vascular cancer. He passed away four months later and taught me a lot about living for the moment and making a different. It was a tradition of ours to eat at IHOP on the way home from the beach after surf fishing all weekend long.
My 4 year old grand-niece Lailah knows how to brighten my day. When she smiles, I smile. When she giggles, I giggle. Her happiness and innocence makes any dreary day a sunny one. I consider myself very lucky that I get to enjoy watching her grow up. She loves blueberry waffles so I would take her to IHOP if I were to win.
I have to say my children. One is 22 months and the other is 6 months and I have discovered the type of joy that I never knew before.
my sister in law, Judi. She was an invaluable resource on child-raising advice. Thanks to her & my mother-in-law my daughter is on her way to being the outstanding individual my nephews are. Thx Judi!
To pick just one, it would be my dad.
Definitely has to be my husband. Life is not always easy and we seem to have had a share of difficulties over the last few years but I always know he will be there for anything I need.
My 2 month old daughter Giada makes my day. No matter how bad my day could be going, when she smiles at me every worry just gets wiped away
My Aunt and I have had a rough year and she has had pacemaker replacement surgery this year and also faces bladder surgery this year. We don’t have a lot of money to do something nice for ourselves. It would be really really nice to treat ourselves to a meal out and be able to do something other than go to doctors all of the time so here is keeping my fingers crossed that we win!
My fiance, he is my rock
My husband is always there for me even when im driving him crazy! He never gives up on me. Hes amazing!
The one person that made an impact in my life is my father. Through his style of disciplining, I learned life long lessons.
My Grandmama. She has always been there for me and my siblings.
My husbnd – he has truly been with me through good times and bad.
The receptionist where I work always brings a smile to my face. After the craziness of getting the kids ready and dropped off in the mornings, she is always calm and happy. I hope to brighten her day by taking her to lunch with my IHOP gift card!
My kids! Being a young momma is hard, but they’re love is the most precious gift in my life.
My kids for sure. They are my everything!!
The one person who makes my day brighter I must say it has to be my 5 month old son! He saved my life in so many different ways…all I need is a smile from him and it makes all my problems go away!! I don’t know where I would be if it wasn’t for him I strive to do my best just to make sure he’ll have everything and I want him to be proud of me!! I love my son!!
That person for me would be my husband. He always know how to look at the brighter side of things even when they look glum and that always cheers me up.
My boyfriend for supporting and sharing my couponing ways!
My Pastor has had a HUGE impact on my life. Not only is he my Pastor, but in the past year he has become like a big brother to me. Even though I have only known him for a year and a half, I cannot imagine my life without him(and his family) in it.
My daughter. I have been blessed with many wonderful people in my life, but for the last 20 years since she was born, my daughter has been my brightest star. I cannot imagine my life without her spark. She makes me smile and my heart fill with pride and joy just thinking about her!
My wife and son who would love this IHOP certificate so he can eat his waffles or as he calls it “awfuls”
My fiancee, he truly gets me and understands me and has shown me what real love is.
My husband has made a positive impact on my life. I started dating him when I was 16…more than a couple of years ago.
My mom and dad. They are extraordinary individuals, in that through it all, they have raised a wonderful family. I am the oldest of 4 children and we are in it together through thick and thin.
my kids!! seeing things through a childs eyes makes you look at things differently. having kids makes you want to be a better person for them (and to watch the things you do and say because you know they are watching you!).
Without a doubt, that would be my daughter. My whole outlook on life has changed so much since she was born. She is the only person who can make me smile no matter how bad my day is going. She s only 21 months old & she is my whole world. She is my happiness, there is no love like the love for your child. The doctors said I couldn’t get pregnant, but God disagreed. I am so blessed to have her <3
My husband is, by FAR, is the person who has made the most positive impact in my life. We have been together since High School, and he is my best friend. He is a hard worker, sometimes working 80 hours a week, but yet he still makes time for our family, and is never too tired to spend time with our son. Because he is such a hard worker, I have the ability to stay at home with our son, and not work (eventhough it’s a full-time job in it’s own respect). He loves me unconditionally.
My 2 kids brighten my day! On days I don’t want to leave my comfy bed, their little faces are there to greet me, with big smiles. They make me feel ready to start the day! Some days theres so many things to get done, between cleaning/straightening up, errands to be run, meals to fix. Both of them love to help Mommy use the vacuum, dust and make dinner. If I didn’t have these two little cuties, all of those things would be such a chore to get done! They truly do make each day that much brighter for me.
My wonderful boyfriend , he would do anything for me, and would do anything to make my day brighter.
my daughter! sometimes it takes the innocent viewpoint of a child to really put things in perpective 🙂
My kids! They make me want to do everything possible in the world to make their lives better and for filled. They make is possible for me to stay positive no matter what. And if I have a bad day, just look at their sweet face. I love Kaylin & Kyle!
The person having the biggest impact on my life is my fiance and my dog. My fiance has been there for me when I was going through tough times and he is there for me no matter what. We have been together since I was 16 and we are now 23 and we are going to get married next year. My dog has actually also had a positive impact on my life because it made me fiance and me closer when we adopted him and it made me a healthier person.
I would say that my mom was instrumental in starting on my a good path in my life. Even though I was the youngest of 8, she always had time to share her love with each and every one of us. We may not have had the best things in life but she made sure we always had clean clothes, a fully tummy with nothing but healthy homemade meals, but also her love. We didn’t know what it was like when I was little to go out, a she was always in the kitchen and whipping up the most tasty meals and was a wonderful dessert/pie maker. She has been gone now 24 years, but there isn’t a day that doesn’t go by that I don’t do something that reminds me of her. She was the best and will always be instilled in my heart! Love is where the heart comes from and she will always be in my heart, the same way I was in hers!
My children brighten my day, everyday. Being a teenage mom it was difficult at times to know whether I was coming or going, but every time i looked at them they gave me the motivation and determination to strive better. My munchkins have mad me who I am today. So for that they will always brighten my days and forever be my little heroes.
My mom. She has shown me what being strong really means. She has always been there for me and would do anything for the people she loves. She is one of my best friends and I’m so lucky to have her as my mom.
My God has blessed me with a wonderful husband who impacts my life in a positive way daily.
I don’t have one person my whole family brightens my days. One day one person may the next day someone else. Days and situations change and everyone has their unique personalities.
My daughter has made a positive impact on my life. When I’m feeling down, her smile picks me up.
My husband. He encourages me, challenges me to be better, supports me and loves me unconditionally.
My husband and our 3 children…without them I would be lost!!! Thank you guys for everything!!!
My Mom has a huge impact on me. No matter what life may bring me my mom always knows how to make me feel better, lift me when I’m down, and encourage me to keep on pushing for what I want. I would not be where I am today without her love and support!
One person who has had a positive impact on my life is my mother. She has always supported me, shown me love, and is a voice of reason whenever I feel the need to “flip out.” She is the best grandmother anyone could ever ask for and is always there for me when I need her – day or night. I know she would LOVE a pancake breakfast with my kids at IHOP!! If anyone deserves it, it is her!
I have to say my mom. Without her I would not be the person that I am. She has taught me to be resposible, honest, organized and have fun. She has always encouraged my creativity or any project I have started and has taught me to finish, check what I can do better and has always praised what I do well.
My husband has made a positive impact on my life. He’s shown me how to love, forgive, and become a better person. 🙂
My 6 month son! Ever since I found out I was pregnant I knew I really had to make my life better and now it is. I live more frugally, eco friendly, make more money and work hard to be a good role model for him. And his huge smile enriches my day. I love him!! Even though he can’t eat Ihops yet 🙂 lol
This is a hard question because I need to give credit to 2 people but I am going to go with my husband. He has taught me so much and I am a completely different person which is a good thing considering how I used to be. I was very angry and superficial prior to meeting him. He made me see that superficial doesn’t last and isn’t needed. His attitude and perspectives on everything changed my attitude around. He is old fashioned and I love that because it shows that there are men out their that respect woman and like simplicity. I am very grateful for having met such a wonderful man and having kids with him. Our son will have an amazing male role model. What more could I ask for? A nice breakfast out with him would be nice! His work schedule is horrible so I see him for an hour at morning and at nigh when he comes home and on his days off, we just go to dr appts and errands so it would be nice to have a big ole tasty breakfast with each other.
My mom has been through a lot, and she always keeps her head up and bounces back when bad things happen. That’s why she’s my inspiration.
The answer to this question is definately my husband and 2 sons. After 35 years together, we still find a lot of fun activities and mutual interests. Our sons round out our lives with never ending issues!! Lol.
My sixth grade teacher! She was so inspiring, encouraging, and full of energy. All of her students loved her including me. You could tell she loved what she did, and cared for her students! She’s inspired me to become a teacher. I’ve been teaching now for 13 years and love every minute with my first graders!
I have two, my husband and my 1 year old daughter, my hubby for always bringing a smile to my face, for supporting me in everything i do and for giving me an amazing life and family, my daughter for teaching me that all things are new and exciting and beautiful and for teaching me patience.
My husband always makes my day brighter. He is my number one fan and supporter! He always brings out the best in me.
i have two beautiful 3 month old twins after having them 3 months premature and everyday for 3 months in the nicu watching them grow its showed me that life is worth living and great things do happen in time!!!! <3
This would have to be my husband, he is my best buddy, my love, my pain in the butt, and my worst enemy all wrapped into one. At the end of the day he always brings out the best in me and I thank him every day for it. =)
My mother would be my choice. She is always there to listen and offer advice. Shes also there to kick me in the bum when I need a little push 🙂
This would have to be my mother. I’m one of 4 boys (the oldest out on my own) and recently my youngest brother passed away. The last 6 months have been a very crazy time for my family and without my mother’s guidance, love and support i dont know how my brother, father or myself would have been able to get through this.
My 3 year old daughter when she wakes up! That fresh, baby face that says, “Good morning, mommy!” It’s the best feeling to wake up to and then we give each other a big hug and a kiss. Now, the day my husband comes home from his deployment will make me REALLY happy!
My husband. He can make me laugh even when I’m mad at him. He “gets” me. He went to the grocery store last week with 10 coupons and used them all.
Hands down, my dad 🙂
The very first people who come to mind are the ones I like the best…my family, friends and everyone who’s near and dear to my heart. But the truth of the matter is that the people who “bring out the best in me” are the ones who rub me like sandpaper. Though they may be unaware, they are the ones who refine my weaknesses, smooth my rough edges and call out my insecurities. Almost as if God has purposefully placed them directly in my path on my very worst day just so I can learn the tough lessons I dread the most. The very issues most of us strive to ignore on a daily basis…humility, patience, faith that God’s strength is greater than our own weakness. Those little lessons I think I’ve already mastered yet still need reminding of from time to time!
I would have to say my mom has made the biggest impact in my life. She has always been there when I needed her!
My children have made a positive impact in my life. Each and every day the 5 of them challenge me to be a better person and a better mother; whether they know they are doing it or not. I love the time I spend with them and feel so blessed to have them in my life. My mother once said being a Nana to my children was the best job she ever had in her life, and I can see why!
My 2 beautiful girls have a huge impact on me every day. no matter if im laughing or crying, they always show me their unconditional love.
My mom! Single mother of 3 and doing it all on her own…an inspiration through and through!
My two little girls have had a positive impact on my life. While I love and adore my husband, I never knew how much a smile from my three-month-old or a joke from my five-year-old would make my heart feel like it would burst. I always knew I wanted children but never knew that I would get to experience a kind of love like no other. If there is one thing in life I am grateful and thankful for, it is my children and family.
My husband! He has always been there to make me laugh and support me at anything including couponing!!
My Mom… she has taught me everything. How to love and care for others and how to love and take care of myself.
my husband! Not only is he my best friend, he is the best dad, a great provider, generous. I love waking up to him in the morning and I can’t wait until he gets home after work. He’s the best!
My man. Where would I be without him? Probably lost in Idaho somewhere because I couldn’t follow directions, out of gas and walking in circles.
My boyfriend! We have been together for 10 yrs and he is my partner in crime, my best friend, my shoulder to cry on, my support and my everything. He makes my every day brighter just by being who he is and makes me want to be a better person everyday. =)
My mom has made the most positive impact on my life. She forces me to do things I’m too lazy to do! 🙂
My Autistic six year old son has had the greatest impact on my life. He has taught me to be happy no matter what and to start each day happy. Everyday I grow with him and my family has learned to appreciate even the smallest successes.
The person who makes my day I would have to say is my little brother. Even though he may get on my nerves, watching him get ready for school in the morning, hearing how his school day went when he comes at 3 and helping him with his homework really allows me to step back and think about the things that really matter in life. Because I am a college student and work three jobs I sometimes find myself worrying about the next test or payday instead of relaxing, stepping back and instead enjoying life and he allows me to do that. Thank You!
My husband…he truly is a PRINCE in every since of the word! He is my best friend. He believes in me even when I don’t believe in myself. He loves people and treats others with such kindness. He sets such a beautiful example for our family. I thank God each day!
My husband of (almost) 26 years…..he is still my best friend and my anchor. I am so grateful to be his wife.
My son would have to be person who has made the biggest impact on my life. He has changed my perspective on life, money, and happiness. Seeing him growing and learning makes all the badness in this world go away!
My son by far. Before he was born I was making mistakes left and right. Once he was born I began on the straight path. I struggled hard emotionally and financially but he always had a smile on his face even when mommy said I’m sorry Markie we can’t afford it. Now I am in a place where I can give him what he wants! What he wants always is IHOP pancakes. He gets two pancakes has me cut them in four sections and.he.uses four different syrups. He now always puts a smile on my face. Mommy loves you Markie!!
There are many special people in my life but I’d have to say my mother-in-law. She is a wonderful lady who has always remained positive even though she has had some tragedies in her life. My husband is the man he is today because of her.
My 3 kids brighten my day!!! Just thinking about them keeps me going. Throughout the day i look at their crazy pictures and think about the crazy stuff they come up with and it makes me laugh and enjoy the day!!!!!
my mom has made the strongest positive impact on my life, she is so caring & always there for me. always supports me & gives me great advice. only person who has ever been there for me out of my whole family. i love her more then anything.
My children has made an impact in my life. I’ve grown into a mature women because of them.
My mom because she’s done so much to make it easier for me growing up. Working so hard at work while being a single mother at work. I really look up to her and am amazed that she does everything so well.
my daughter, i am a single mom & we are all each other has. weve been through almost everything together, we have such a great strong relationship. she went through alot with our divorce but turned out to be such a sweet & helpful girl. she puts everyone’s feelings before hers.
MY husband makes my day, every day. I can’t bottle up the crazy, but he manages to put up with me anyway 🙂
My husband- he’s my best friend!
My kids keep me balanced and crack me up on a regular basis!
My mother made a postitive impact on my life. SHe taught me to always look at everything positive, help when you can, love with all your heart and follow your passions. I miss that woman.
This is kind of a tough one. I would probably have to go with my husband as he is the one who got me where I am today!
My mother has has made a positive impact in my life. She was a single mom and always had challenges but never gave up on her dreams–they just took a little longer. She also showed me that a woman doesn’t have to sit on the sidelines and let the guys do the “important stuff”. She has been a police officer for many years and has earned her degrees all while raising children.
My 6 year old Twins have had such a tremendous impact on my life. They bring such joy each and every day…even when they are not getting along! They are an inspiration and a blessing! <3
I would have to say there have been a few people in my life so far that have made a positive impact in my life.
My father who passed away when I was 12( in 1987) gave me the love of nature and to this day I when I take my children to wooded park I can hear my Dad asking me if I see any deer prints.
My husband has made a VERY positive impact also, he has given me the ability to see the positive things in my myself, being a full time Mom and have a part time job has made it hard for me to feel like I am helping, but he is always there to cheer me on and make me feel special.
I work with special needs children & they make me a better person everyday!
My son, He is there for me through thick and thin, What more can I see
My mother made a positive impact on my life. She was a devout christian and always taught my siblings and I the right things to do. She taught me how to stand up and be a lady. She has passed on, but she will continue to live on in my heart.
I’d defiinitely have to say my husband. He makes me laugh and smile all the time.
Gosh, it’s too hard to pick just one. It is possible that every person we ever encounter has a positive impact on us even if we don’t realize it at first?
My grandmother has made a very positive impact on my life. She’s worked hard on the farm her whole life, into her 70’s, waking up at 5AM everyday. Once she’s done with the hard labor though, she is the epitome of style and is always so put-together and trendy. She’s also always supported me unconditionally and is an example of the kind of woman I’d like to be.
my husband. he is so considerate, i have learned from him.
My mom has had a great impact on my life. She raised 9 kids and has made me strive to be the best mom I can be!!
My grandmother who not only raised her kids but her grand kids and great grand kids
My husband makes my day brighter. He is working through a phd program in biochemistry and has such a positive attitude and outlook, even though he has a lot on his plate right now. Talk about motivation to save money! I do it for the both of us, but especially for him. I know every little bit I save makes our finances less stressful for him, which in turn helps lessen the burden my husband has right now.
My daughter! Although she won’t arrive unti October 6th, she has already touched my heart! (And kicked/ punched most other parts of me 😉 )
My 84 year old dad brightens my day. He still gets up and goes to work everyday and is going strong. He is an inspiration. If I win, I’m taking him to IHOP!
My hubby can always get me to laugh, even when I’m feeling down. He is my pillar of strength. 🙂
My two daughters for the warmth, compassion, and wisdom they display every day at such young ages – they are my world. <3
My dog Misty brightens my day, she does such strange things that make me laugh all day long !!!
My children have been a positive impact on my life showing me how to love and always forgive.
My Mom, my children make me appreciate her more everyday.
Um, how about Cindy Livesey? I’m getting married soon and…Cindy has made a positive impact on my life through livingrichwithcoupons.com. Thanks!
I’d have to without hesittion say my boyfriend of almost 2 years. He is my rock when I am on unsteady ground n sometimes my voice of reason. We’ve known each other since highschool & he is my perfect “somebody.”
My husband – he challenges me, brings out the best in me, broadens my horizons, and has given me the best gift ever – our daughter. I’ve given up a lot for him, but I don’t regret it a bit.
My newborn daughter has made the positive impact on my life and she’s only been in this world for 6 weeks! She has made me feel a love I have never experienced before and has made me realize what is really important in life–not working hard and trying to be successful, but spending quality time with those you love.
My 2 1/2 year old twins…seeing the world through their eyes has really changed me for the better!
I would say my 3 year old niece. She was born with a rare liver/heart disease called Alagille Syndrome and at 6 weeks old she had her first surgery, and now she has 5 surgeries under her belt. I have been there for her and my family but she is just amazing, minutes after she got out of her heart surgery she was up playing and goo gooing and ga gaing. She is so positive and she taught me/us that we just keep going and enjoy everyday to the fullest and if you fall and scratch your knee, well just get up and continue playing 🙂 Thank you! Enjoy the rest of your day 🙂
My mom! She is always there for me now matter what.
My mom has made a great positive impact on my life. She has taught me to be a strong independent woman!
My daughter has made a posititve impact on my life. She’s made me stronger, more responsible, more confident, and just a better person all-around. She’s only 4, but she’s amazing! 🙂
My family is life. I’m married to my hardworking, loving college sweetheart and am blessed with a healthy and wonderful almost-2-year-old.
My 5 month old son. He is so smiley. And no matter what kind of day we are both having, the smile on his face when he looks at me makes everything better.
My husband, of 20 years, has had the most positive impact on my life HANDS DOWN.
All the men in my life, my husband & 3 sons. They might drive me crazy, but I know I could never be happy without all of them.
I would have to say my children. I had my son when I was young, so I had to grow up and change my life. Everyday my kids make me want to be a better person
My husband by far has made a positive impact on my life . I wouldnt have my 2 awsome boys if it wasnt for him. He is a positive person who keeps me always going . Always keeps me wanting more. He is a good hearted and makes me always look for brighter days. He is great <3
My husband has made a positive impact on my life. After being critical injured in a horrible car accident, his will for life is encouraging. His determination and strenght inspires me every day. I would be lost without him. He is my bestfriend and everyday hero.
When my Dad was alive he was always positive about everything. He told me that how I treated other people would cause them to treat me the same way. He also would say that things will always turn out the way you want them to if you just think how you want them. He always said funny things like that. “How old would you say you were, if you didnt know how old you were?” I keep these things in mind even after his death. Now the most positive influence on my life are my cats. They are loveable and soothing to me when Im down or irritated.
It is definitely my husband. We have had a really rocky year with the birth of my second child. He has been through 3 surgeries already and has a long road ahead. My husband has been my support, my light, and keeps me grounded. I am looking forward to celebrating his first birthday next month!
The first person is GOD but here on earth my boys 16, 14, 10 and my beautiful 18 months old baby girl are the reason I live for. They are the fuel that keeps my motor running.
My husband has had a positive impact on my life. I thank God every day for blessing me with him.
My wife for everything she does without complaining or asking for help.
My kids. They make me want to get up in the morning.
My wife. She is the love of my life and my best friend…
My mother. Why,my dad married another girl inspite mom and him is still married. And I saw how terrible and sad my mom is when she heard the news. She went to Italy to work. For us. She petition us ,to have a wonderful life in Italy without any help from my dad. And then 6yrs ago she had a head surgery,, Aneurism.. A vein in her head pop, and had a blood clotting. God gave her a 2nd life. And for all the things that happened to her in her life… For all the things that happened to my mom became my point of view. That never give up no matter what happened. And everythings happened for a reason. That we are not alone..
My mom has made the biggest impact in my life. She has made me into the mother and wife I am today, and I am so grateful to everything she has done for my kids and I.
My husband. He is awesome
My friend Loren who became one of my first friends when I moved to a new town. Loren had introduced me to Christ and I thank her for that, I encourage her and she encourages me!
I would have to say my hubby….. he is such a positive and encouraging person – which is probably why I love him so much 🙂 We have been together 10 years and married just over 1 year 🙂 and each day he does something that surprises me and encourages me to be a better person. Thanks for the giveaway!
I would have to say without a doubt it is my husband he is everything and has been for 30 year’s we married at just barely 20 year’s old and he has alway’s been supportive, loving, and my best friend. I pray for 40 more year’s. Thanks hope I win. Pam
My mom has made a positive impact in my life-no matter what is going on with her, she always puts me first!
My mother: She came to this country so that I could have a better future. Now, every time like giving up on school, I think of how hard she has worked to help support me while I attend college, and it makes me want to study even harder so I can help her when I graduate.
My manager No inspires me daily. Shes so positive she has even turned around the negative people at the office and made them more chipper. No matter what issues shes having with customers she always takes time to chat with us and make sure we are doing fine. She inspires us to work harder each day by even taking work home with her and working 24/7. It makes all coworkers put in that extra effort each day and be better people.
My kids!
The number one inspiration in my life would be my two children. They are both the two most beautiful funny people I have ever had the pleasure to know. I remember a time when being a young and carefree was much more important to me. I felt that the things that mattered most were those you could purchase but they have taught me so much. I believe that I learn from them every day and I’ve come to the conclusion that I would go without anything…clothes, food, shelter so that they may have all they need to thrive and succeed in this world.
I have to say my wonderful husband who has always been my inspiration and anchor during difficult times.
My Hubby!!! He is my best friend and companion. It treats me better than anyone has in my whole life. I am is first marriage and he is 47! He’s unselfish, caring and has a wonderful sense of humor. I don’t know how I went 44 years without him! Thanks for letting us share!
My mother has made such a positive impact on my life. She taught me how to love, trust and live life to the fullest. She faced many obstacles in life, being part of a large family in tough economic times, and she has never lost site of who she is and where she came from. She also has become the most amazing grandmother to my children. I don’t know where I would be in life without my mother – I love her more than I could ever write in words! She is the best!
Definitely my mom, she’s become my best friend as I get older!
The person that brightens my day almost everyday is someone I have never even met. He is known as “Hoppy” around the town of Elkton, MD. You see, every morning and evening at rush hour, you can find Hoppy on Rte 213 at the foot of a railroad bridge. He enthusiastically waves and smiles to every car that passes. One day I have having a really rough day. I had just gone through a horrible break up. That was the day I fist saw Hoppy out there waving. After seeing such an enthusiastic person waving at me, I just had to stop crying. I waved an started to smile and giggle. I think Hoppy started me on my road to mending my broken heart. Now I make a point to make sure to drive that way if I think Hoppy will be there. I just need to see his smiling face! To Hoppy and all the random strangers that hold a door or give a smile, you never know how much you can brighten a person’s day!
I could tell you that my mother or father, or one of my 8 siblings, or one of my 5 niece/nephews make my day brighter. I could tell you that my friends make my day brighter, but the ONE who makes my day brighter day in and day out is God. It doesn’t matter what happens, He is always there, He has big enough shoulders for when I’m angry, He has big enough arms for when I’m sad, He’s always listening when I need to share something, He laughs when I laugh and He cries when I cry. The best thing about Him? I never get a busy signal!
This may seem like a silly answer, but it’s my answer! If I ever need His advice, I know I can pick up the Bible and will be lead to where to read for my answer. His confirmations of what I should do or not do, are even more amazing.
So while my family and friends brighten my day, the #1 goes to God 🙂
I know just what you mean!
My wonderful husband. Even if I am having a bad day he never fails to make me smile and laugh.
My three children, Devin 17, Cameron 8 and Katelyn 4 bring out the very best in me each day. It’s not easy raising children now a days but it’s all worth it at the end of the day when everyone goes to sleep and just before I go to bed I go and check on them and they look so peacful and happy. I turn off Devins MP3 player and pull the blanket up on Cameron and put Katelyn’s baby doll up next to her and just before I shut the door I hear a faint little girl say “Daddy…kiss and hugs please”……. Those 3 are the ones who who bring out the best in me! 🙂
Definitely my family! They are the ones who make my life what it is! Anytime I am feeling stressed or unhappy, they are the ones who make it all better (uh–unless it was them that caused me to feel that way…jk)
My mom! She has been an amazing example to me, and I love her very much!
My husband – love this guy for last 10 years. I am so lucky girl:)
My children have made a positive impact on my life, because in trying to teach them how to be good people, it has made me a better person
My father has made a positive impact on my life, he always told me, “remember you are always a lady.” Thanks to him he made all my dreams come true to become the young woman I am today.
My husband and kids have made a positive impact on my life. They have all been there to pick me up when I was down, encourage me & taught me unconditional love.
I would have to say my parents. They have help me through my 10 year battle with Thyroid Cancer, never hesitating to pay my medical bills or take me to the doctor; Always making sure i’m healthy. I would love to take them to get a yummy funnel cake!
My parents, without a doubt! They are just the most supportive, wonderful, concerned people. They are my best friends!!!
My family continues to make the toughest days bearable and the happy days even happier. I found out about the website via my friend’s FB post and my family has really embraced my new found “couponing” interest. As a matter of fact, they even participate in the clipping and sorting of the coupons. I love my family so much!!
Besides my dog who passed away six months ago, whoever speaks a kind word when I’m feeling down makes my day whether it be a family member, friend, coworker or someone just passing by. Makes you remember that we are human in our busy lives.
Although it’s very difficult sometimes, my children (Noah, 3 who has autism and Evan, 19 mos. who is “at risk”). Every time they do something new or even just give me a big hug, it just melts my heart!
The love of my life….He has taught me that life is too short to be nothing less than happy! His patience, and kindness are never ending even when I am at my wits end! He is the calm in my storm and the rock of strength that I depend on every day.
The person who makes my day a brighter is my Lord and Savior. He has given me all that I have or will ever need. My family, my friends, my church all are important but because of Him is why I have them all. He has given me so many blessings and I’m so undeserving of them. Thank you Lord.
My hubby and children, definately! My hubby, for unselfishly getting up before me in the morning to make sure I have a piping hot cup of coffee to bring to work with me (and for dealing with me prior to actually drinking it). My children, ages 4 and 6, who light up my life in every way possible. My 4 year old tells me that I am beautiful for no reason at all, and my 6 year old tells me I am the best mommy in the whole entire world because I “just love them so much!” Really…what could be better?! 🙂
My son, Justin. He is 3 years old and whenever he sees that I have a heard day he comes up to me and gives me a hug and asks me if I’m sad. I can’t help but smile no matter what’s brought me down.
My 2 daughters. One has such a great sense of humor and can always make me laugh and the other is very warm and always thoughtful. They make my day better!
My hubby and kids definately make my days brighter! My hubby, for unselfishly getting up before me every morning to make sure I have a piping hot cup of java to take to work (and for putting up with me before I actually get to drink the coffee)! My kids, ages 4 and 6, who always put a smile on my face and are my reason for living. My 4 year old will tell me I am beautiful for no reason and out of the blue, while my 6 year old tells me I am the “best mommy in the entire world” because I “love them to bits!” Really…what could be better?!
I would have to say my Husband. He is a police officer in our city and goes out everyday and risks his life to keep us safe. Even after some of the hardest days he still comes home with a smile and makes me laugh.
My husband. He is always encouraging me when times get tough. He ie my best friend.
My husband!! He always has a way to try to get me to “not sweat the small stuff.”
My hunny makes my days brighter. He is such a loving husband and father. Even after a long day at work, he still takes over caring for our children so that I get a much needed break. I feel so blessed!
My brother and sister whom God has given me (who also loves IHOP) helps me get through any obstacles I face. I was a lonely child and prayed for a sibling and I ended up with two. I have never been more happy since thier arrival.
My husband of course! he made my life complete, every day is brightened by his smile and kiss. I feel the most happiest woman in the world as God gave me the only love in my life!
my three pugs always find a way to brighten my day!
IHOP is wonderful, but IHOP with the grandkids is even BETTER!!! They are the lights of my life, and the best reward for surviving the teenaged years of my daughters! lol
The person that Brightens my day, everyday is my youngest son!. I have 4 children and of course they all make me happy, but as most moms know….the older they get, the less they think of mom or anyone else around them lol, especially the teens! My youngest is about to celebrate his third birthday, which kind of saddens me because I want him to stay little and sweet. With the type of work I do, I have a lot of bad days, but I always know that when I get home and see his smiling face….it’s all better. Everyday he showers me with hugs and kisses and tells me I’m his bestest friend ever!
My mom is the best. She tries to keep all eight of her kids happy and no fighting among siblings but no matter how exhausting it is she won’ t complain. I admire the happiness she pours onto others whether they want it or not.
My mom – she’s my best friend, my confidant, my babysitter, my shopping buddy, my mothering mentor. I would be a God-awful mother if I didn’t have her around!
My kids and husband brighten each and every day for me! Their loving smiles and the fun times they bring make each day better than the last!
I must say, however, that Cindy also brightens my day when she posts the best coupon deals on the web!!! Thank you Cindy! 🙂
My husband makes my day, everyday. He even manages to brighten my day with sweet phone calls and texts when he is off working crazy hours to support our family.
My husband is ok. 😉 But my 3 year old is something else! Everyone who meets her says the same thing, “OMG, she is so funny!” And she is.
My mom. She always calls me everyday just to check up on me and whenever she visits she brings my favorite dishes. She’s so cute and friendly and has taught me to always give back and be kind towards everywhere. She herself is always pleasant to be around 🙂
There are many people who make my world brighter but when I need someone to shine down on my heArt my best friend is forever there. We can go weeks sometimes months without talking because of the nature of our jobs but for some reason we are connected. The day I really need her, she calls or texts something inspirational or lovely. A friend always brings a rainbow after a storm.
Every morning I get up, my focus is my family, making sure they have everything they need to make it through the day; a full stomach, clean clothes, love, encouragement and moral support. Though our lives can be crazy with the daily routines, they make life worth living! All that said! I would love some alone time with my husband, who understands me as best anyone could, and IHOP a few times with out the kids could brighten our day even more!!
My Grandma is such a positive influence on me. I can call her about anything, whether it is about parenting advice, help with sewing projects, celebrating the joys that come with having an active toddler, help with cooking, or comforting me when I am working through a rough patch in life. She seems to know everything about life. (Oh and she is a couponista, as well!) My Grandma is the sweetest person and we live very far from one another which makes me sad but being the savy lady she is… she’s all hooked up on skype and facebook, she does her best to be there for me. I love her so much!
MY mom! she is my best friend!
My daughter is the light of my life. At age 7 she has blossomed into an outgoing vibrant young lady with more personality than most have in their little finger! She is mature, sassy, feisty, and sensitive. I can take her anywhere and find my day filled with joy!
Oprah Winfrey has been a positive influence on me. She inspires me to be a better person and to pay it forward and help others.
My husband has been the most positive influence in my life. Without him I would not have finally enrolled in college. Because of his encouragement I will graduating with my BA this next school year. He always tells me I can do things that I think I can’t.
My son has been a positive impact on my life. Together we try to live our life to the fullest in the happiest way possible.. I try to make it the greatest place to have wonderful memories for years to come… Its like a bed and breakfast at my house… IHOP would fit right in to our daily routine of kids, kids and more kids …. I even leave the light on for you… nothing but positive things happen here.. come join us!

My daughter Hayley. I never knew I could love somebody so much until she came along. Everyday she makes my day brighter and I cannot imagine my life without her!!
My Grandmother. She is always there.
my 7 yr old son brings me such joy. i feel so blessed to be his mom 🙂
My husband is the person who has made the most positive impact in my life. I had a lot of issues before I met him and struggled with depression.
My husband has made a positive impact on my life.
My granddaughter, Emma, who has taught me to enjoy every day with laughter and wonder.
My kids make my day brighter. They drive me crazy but they usually manage to say one thing or do something to make me laugh.
My children!! Everytime I look at there smiling faces, I know there is a God!!
My boyfriend of 9 years has made a positive impact on my life! He is in the US Army and has showed me what a great person he is and treats me like a princess!
My boys – they make me a better person <3
My daughters have been the most positive impacts on my life. One taught me to be strong and the other is teaching me to have patience.
My son Thomas who is 14, he has shown me that just being able to smile all the time brightens anyones day, and that it only takes a second to smile instead of being miserable, he is the heart of soul of who I am, he has stuggles but has come threw them all, I am lucky to be his MOM….
I am gonna say My Daughter, Without her i would be lost she is so trusting caring and loving she is my best friend ! ……….would love to take her to ihop everyday !
The person who makes me happy is someone I never met…He was my anonomous kidney donor. I live every day healthy and happy with his kidney in my body… Thanks to this generous person, I am spending my days with my 2 loving children, husband and wonderful family & friends. I hope this person is also living healthy and happily, and getting all that life has to offer him.
My husband is my rock! 16 years and counting and he still is my stability, my strength, and my love.
My husband and kids–the most important people in my life!
My mother was the best influence in my life. She taught me how to be strong and push through all that life has to throw at you. She also instilled in me the importance of family. She was my best friend and the best mom anyone could ask for. I miss her everyday.
Everyone who is close to me who is healthy and living makes my day brighter. Most importantly my husband and kids, if it weren’t for them I wouldn’t be as strong as I am today. They have changed alot of me for the better. I am now a wiser, smarter, more outgoing, and calm because of them. My husband also gave me more belief!
My daughter! She has shown me how the view the world in a positive light again. Every day is a new and exciting adventure with her. She has a positive attitude that is absolutely contagious! I am so proud to be her mom!
My 4 year old son brightens my day, everyday. On my worst days he has the uncanny ability to make me smile just by being him. He loves me unconditionally, as I do him, and never leaves a dull moment!
My heavenly father, Jesus Christ has been the greatest influence…he never fails to supply your every need and fill your life with peace and joy. My grandmother and mom have brightened my life most here on earth. They instilled my faith in Christ and have always been here to make me smile! My mom is one of my best friends!
My son no matter what goes on..he always gives me a big bear hug & tells me he loves me every night and every morning..its nice to feel that unconditional love
My family roots have made a positive impact on my life. The “table” – food, both physical, spiritual and mental. Around the table we shared, not only food, but our daily experiences, our families history, and our passions and dreams. We met around that table when we were happy and when we were sad, when we had celebrations and when we need to support each other in times of turmoil. Food is a way of life in my family. What better way to live your life, than to “break bread” with those you love.
Although my parents are no longer here, I continue to pass on what I have learned to my children and hopefully generations to come will be sharing “life around the table”
Ill bring my family to IHOP to celebrate if I win!
My husband is my best friend .After 11 years of marriage we are still in love with each other .Struggling with infertily for 10 years made our relationship stronger ,and we are now blessed with a year old who is like a miracle in our life .Would love to win the ihop card so i can surpise him .
Definitely my children. They teach me patience, responsibility, the true meaning of unconditional love, and make me want to be a better person and teach by example. They are my greatest joy!
My Grandmother was my hero! She had a really rough life but never once did she complain. She had 2 totally blind children, my mom being one of them, and she taught them to be self sufficient in a time that most people would have institutionalized them. My mom was the best cook and such a great housekeeper and mom. My Uncle went to work everyday of his life and even taught me how to get around Manhattan. My grandmother taught my mother her way around the house because that is what she needed to do. She taught my uncle to work outside the home and to travel by subway and bus in NYC. I miss her like crazy and try to be as much like her as I can.
Mine would have to be my 8 year old son Dylan. He was born 4 months early, so that meant 4 months in the NICU. Since then we have dealt with him being legally blind and autistic. But he has taught me more about being a good person, and kind in the 8 years I have had him then all the adults in my life growing up. He teaches more patience, love and understanding are needed. I love him so much!
My NANNY! I can always count on her though she lives in NY and I in NC. She is a great influence in my life and in my children’s lives. I can always look to her for guidance and support. I thank God everyday that I have her in my corner!
My husband and my three little girls make my day happier. My husband leaves and greets me with a kiss everyday and my little girls are always smiling…
Well I have a few people that have made a positive impact in my life. One that certainly is at the top is my daughter Holly. She is 18 years old and a wonderful woman. Through many stuggles in her life including medical she has stayed strong and turned things into positive learning. I look at her each day and find something to be proud of.
There are several people who have made a positive impact in my life. My parents, husband, and kids. I can’t choose just one.
A lot of people have made a difference in my life. God is the first. He has given me new life through Him and He is always there for me no matter what. He has also given me a wonderful husband and 8 beautiful children! 🙂 Matter of fact, today is our 14th wedding anniversary so you see a lot of blessings have happened in that time! 🙂 My Mom and Dad have also had a large impact on my life. My Mom just went to be with Jesus 4 weeks ago tomorrow. Life is not the same without her, but we have the hope that we will be together again in Heaven because she also had a personal relationship with Jesus.
My husband makes my day. When I am being unreasonable or just plain cranky he can always say something that makes me stop in my tracks and just think or laugh out loud. That is why he is my best friend and makes my day… every day!
My little sunshine always knows how to bring a smile to my face!
I would have to say my children are the two people in my life who brighten my day. Thanks to them I wake up feeling blessed to have the two most beautiful children. Their slobbery messing kiss are the best thing in the world. I love you Miguel and Layla <3
The person/people that had the biggest impact on my life are my parents. They have always been there for me and taught me the values for a successful and happy life. They have been married 55 years next month and have been the best role models for a happy, loving and supportive marrriage. They have also showed me the way to be the best parent that I can be for my own children!
There are 2 people who bring out the best in me…my sons. They have taught me so much about life and love, I just hope I can teach them as much as they’ve taught me. Thanks to them I’ve realized that its okay to be goofy and laugh at yourself, its okay to step out of your comfort zone and do something you wouldn’t normally do, it’s okay to not get it right on the first try and keep trying until you do, it’s okay to be yourself and love others and yourself unconditionally. When times are tough they keep me going and remind me there’s so much more to life than whatever is bugging me. Just a hug, kiss or a smile from them can turn my day around…and it has, each and every day. I am so blessed to have them in my life and don’t know what I would do without them.
My boys! They are both special needs and have struggled with so much. Every new step they make brightens my day.
Definitely my boyfriend Jason has made an extremely positive impact on my life. He loves me unconditionally, supports me emotionally and has restored my faith that there still are some truly great men out there! 🙂
My parents. My father for giving it his best each day recovering from his stroke, the things he has accomplished inspire me to do better and be better. My mother for giving it her all no matter what life brings you. This journey in life through my dad’s recovery process has been an enlightening and amazing one. Watching him each day I have learned so much about how to be thankful and appreciate & enjoy all the little things in life.
My 2 1/2 year old grandson. No one can bring a smile to my face quicker than him. He delights in learning anything new and will dance around the kitchen with me at the drop of a hat. Plus, a good hug from him will chase away the blues.
He loves pancakes, so taking him to IHOP would be a delight and a real treat in this economy.
My daughter! I thought I was patient and well-rounded before she came along, but every day, she makes me better. She is my pride and joy!
My husband, son, and puppy. Coming home to a family that is happy together and enjoys playing together makes me smile 🙂
My DAD. Though he struggles with pain everyday, he NEVER complains and always has a smile on his face. He has taught me how to be a better person, no matter the situation!
My son who is 5 makes every day a brighter day. He always makes me laugh even when I am sad or in a bad mood. Ever since the day he was born I have called him Mr. Personality. He definitely has a great personality. I can’t imagine my life without him. Oh yes – and his favorite meal is IHOP Pancakes with IHOP syrup.
My son has made a very valuable and positive impact on my life. When my husband and I found out we couldn’t have children of our own, we became foster parents. Our son came home to us (adopted) when he was 9 years old and had been through and survived a past life which no one, let alone a child should ever go through. At the age of 4 his biological father burned my so badly, he lost all of the fingers on his left hand, severe damage to his right foot, and left several other burn scars all over his body. But when my husband and I met our son, he had this…light about him, this resilience that shined through brighter than anything I have ever seen. He never lets his disability (he hates when I used that word) get him down. He ALWAYS perseveres and tries anything and everything. People stare at him and I know it bothers him, it bothers me too because if people just get to know him they will see what a special and phenomenal young man he is and they will know what a blessing it is to know him. My son is my hero, my light, my miracle, my everything!!!!!
The person who has had the most positive impact on my life is my husband. He always believes in me even when I do not believe in myself. He encourages me to do impossible things and helps me believe that I can. My husband has made many sacrifices so that I can stay home with our son. He is my best friend, a wonderful daddy, and even my pastor. And of course the greatest gift he ever gave me is my baby boy 🙂
Well, obviously my 2 kids and my husband are my whole life. But no one can make my morning like my rescue beagle, Stanley. He’s always ready for some snuggles, and he’s esp soft and cozy in the morning! I believe that rescue dogs can give what no other dog can. He went from being thrown out of a truck in Virginia, to my loving family in NJ. Stanley has completely enhanced us as a family, and I thank him for that. He has become an essential family member, and I cant imagine our lives, and my mornings, without him!
my 2.5 year old daughter makes an impact in my life. she is my first and every new thing she learns or new idea she comes out with makes me change a little more.
The person who still brightens my day without even being here is my mother. She showed me what being courageous and a fighter really means. At the young age of 34 she was diagnosed with cervical and uteral camcer. Even when she had her bad days with terrible pain, or could keep any food down, she worked for her family, and still managed to have dinner ready. She never had it easy, but showed me you do whatever it is you have to for your family. Whether it was taking 2 or 3 buses and walking miles to clean someone’s home, or living in a motel and making the best out of it for her children. She showed me that even though she experienced a great deal of pain and heartache as a child, and in and out foster home, life was worth fighting for, and having a great day with your children is the greatest joy on earth. She has instilled in me her beliefs as a mother and a woman. And if I am just a third as she was, then I’m still the luckiest woman on earth.
I would have to say my 1st born has made the biggest impact on my life. My whole world changed the very moment I found out I was pregnant with him. I took the time to put on that seat belt, hold a door for someone,& remember that it is the little things that count the most. 3 kids later & the days just get better & better!
My husband. We’ve been together for over 8 years, married for nearly one year, and he makes me smile and laugh every day.
My 3 children! They have shown me that love is everlasting, age is just a number, and youth is not to be taken for granted. I love you Robbie, Grace, and Emily!
My Daughter, Kourtney has made the biggest impact on my life! For the past 6 years our family has struggled with Kourtney’s Bipolar Disorder (she is now 14). Though at times things are extremely rough, we always seem to get through it in one piece. I wish I could snap my fingers and show her just how beautiful and intelligent she is, but alas, I will continue to be her champion when everyone else just doesn’t understand!
My Dad has been a great influence in my life. He instilled in me Christian values, taught me about the Lord, and showed me how to let the light of Christ shine through me in this sinful world! Thanks Dad, see you at Jesus’ feet. <3
My wife brings out the best in me and when she can’t do that, she puts up with me!
My 11 month old son, he is the love of my life he definetly drives me crazy at times, but his cute chubby face doesn’t let me get mad at him so thanks to him I’ve learned to have ALOT more patience.
My husband brings out the best in me. He is always supportive and loving.
For the past 2 yrs, I have either not worked or worked part-time to go back for a teaching degree. Rather than complain about the lack of income, my husband worked overtime to pay the bills. For four months, I had to student teach @ a school about 40 miles away. That meant a total of over 400 miles a week. At today’s gas prices, that alone would’ve made most people say no. Yet, he didn’t. He encouraged me to finish.
This encouragement really meant a lot considering he has health problems. Most of the time they do not interfere with his work. However, they could. He still told me to go ahead. Many times he went to work sick so we’d have food and utilities. He’s the best!
My 3 kids and my husband..they are the best thing that ever happened to me. My life would not be complete without them 🙂
Wow — Hard to pick just one! Hubby, kids, my family….
My grandma and my mom. They are the strongest, most loving, caring, hard-working women I know. My grandma, who’s still alive, retired when she was 80 years old. I hope we win this gift card because my grandma loves going to IHOP with me!!!
Hi,
when I think of a positive person in my life and that has made a great imapact on me, I would have to say my kids!! With out my two little angels I would not know where I would today. They have giving me strength to move forward in life and try to be the best person in the world, its amazing how two innocent souls can imapact a human in so many ways! Everything I do is for them I want them to always be proud of their mother 🙂
So many choices of people who brighten my day. I am actually going to meet the newest person to brighten my day in a few hours. I will be having my first baby today and I can only imagine how much joy I will feel!!
My mom. She has made into the mom I am today. I am forever grateful to her for all she has done for me and my family.
My Father has made the most positive impact on my life! Although he passed away on June 2nd this year, he left the most lasting impression on me. He always taught me that if you do good things, good things will happen. I never heard my father speak ill of anyone and he always made everyone he met happy and feel special. I miss him dearly, but I strive to carry on this legacy.
My sister. She has 3 boys, has a full-time job, cuts hair on the side, and manages to take care of an aunt and my mother while maintaining her own household. I would like for her to take a break even if it’s only for one hour.
It’s a toss up…my husband or my Lord. My husband has put up with me for 31 years. Through good times & bad times, no matter what trouble I’ve gotten us into. We go through it all together & are better for it. He takes such good care of me, he does so much for me that sometimes I feel guilty, like I don’t do enough for him. (But girls we know we always do enough for our hubby’s.) He’s my strength, my friend & listens to all my crazy ideas. I’ll keep him around for at least another 31 years. I’d like to make his day an I-Hop day & take him out to eat, my treat.
My Grandkids make me light up when I see them because they love unconditionally at that age and it is so refreshing.
My son Rayshaun! He is 8 years old and has Autism but always has such a great attitude. He has come so far and when I start to worry, one look from him let’s me know that we need to enjoy the now. He is my daily inspiration! 🙂
I have 2 people. My Mom because she taught me alot and had a huge help in who I am today with her love and guidance. And my daughter, that little girl is the love of my life! She makes me laugh even when upset and there’s nothing better then the love of a child!
My oldest sister Pam. As a teenager she was a mother figure to us, and when she was pregnant with her first child she took me in. She demonstrated that even in a negative situation you can show love, compassion and forgiveness. She is my hero.
My fiance makes my day brighter. He’s my best friend. We have a lot of fun together and he always finds a way to remind me not to take life too seriously and to take everything one day at a time and that there are some things you just can’t change. We could get through anything together with communication and trust. Thanks for the opportunity to take time out of my day to remind myself just how important he is to me. 🙂
I would have to say my sister. She has 3 boys one year apart in ages, a husband, has a full-time job, cuts hair on the side, and takes care of my mother and aunt while maintaining her own household. That’s not an easy task! I don’t think I could do what she does.
No brainer for me! My husband, Greg! He is my best friend, mentor, advisor, and spiritual leader for my family.
My Dad !! He raised my brother and I all by himself. We were only 2 years old! Dad died this past December and I will always Love him and Miss Him! ♥♥
My Hubby of course. He is just the most amazing. He does so many things for me that he really doesn’t have to do. I appreciate all of them though I must say. Love him so much!!
My husband brightens my day. He has supported me wholeheartedly while going back to school for my degree. Also, i wouldn’t have had a happy day after we lost our first pregnancy in December, he helped me climb back up to the real world. We are lucky to have just discovered that we have a new little one on the way due in March! Thanks to him! 😉
My son! He’s gotten me thru some hard times. He always seems to make me smile!! <33
My kids make my day brighter every day. I love them to pieces!
My niece, Erin. She’s 25 and the mother of three beautiful children. She’s also married to a man who serves in the US Navy. She gets up each morning and spends her time with her three beautiful children all the while maintaining a budget which would be unsustainable for most of us. Her husband is deployed for six months upcoming and she will hold the family together while her family is seven hours away. I hold her in awe that she manages to do all this and still workout! Kudos to Josh & Erin!
My husband makes my day everyday because he loves me unconditionally. I had a rough childhood, growing up in a family of 11 siblings. Although we’ve been struggling for a while now, he always knows how to make me smile. My family & friends aren’t too accepting of him because he is a different race & he does things differently but he doesn’t let it make his sunshine go away. He works hard everyday just so he can provide for our little family. On days when it gets hard for the both of us, our 2 year old son helps make us smile & we were very happy to announce to everyone that we are expecting another baby! Our love just keeps on growing. 8)
My mom! She is the best mom ever. She taught me the value of a dollar a long time ago and have appreciated it so much over the years.
My 3 children are the best thing that ever happened to me and bring out the best in me. They make me proud to be their mother!
My mother. Tomorrow is her 82nd birthday and has already out lived my loving father for 10 years. She is going strong and speaks her mind. She has been there throughout my divorce and my raising my two sons alone. She is my best friend and I can always confide in her. It is hard trying to imagine my life without her.
sooooo many to choose from: mom (of course!) and dad, too; my husband; a good friend who lost her mom a few months after having her first baby — makes me all the more appreciative of my relationship with mom; another friend who started up a non-profit to help others…
We are a family of 5 and love to go to IHOP on Sunday mornings. It’s nice on Sunday to eat a great breakfast together and talk about the upcoming week and best of all they offer a 10% military discount, which when you have a family of 5 helps out tremendously!. Thanks IHOP!!
My 9 year old son Matthew always makes my day brighter. He has autism and although my life is crazy right now (my husband lost his casino job after 33 years in the business and I was laid off from my job), Matt makes me smile with his loving the little things in life. He shows me how just being together is what life is about. We take our beagles over to the dog beach near us and seeing Matt chasing them and laughing is magical 🙂 When I tuck him in at night- he tells me he loves me and that melts away any stress I may have. I am truly blessed.
My family….they make my life complete. Love you all!
My dear husband who loved me no matter what, and a friend of mine named Michelle- she always asks if this is the best I can do, and is what I am doing what God is asking of me!!! That is a hard question. Does this action please God- not me- but the Lord? Hard bill to live up to, but if you do it your life will be full.
My Mom..she has always always been there for me and my kids, she donates her time to a local food pantry, also many times she buys foodfor the less fortunate.Id love to take her and the other ladies to ihop
My husband David and I met at the IHOP about 8 years ago, but we didn’t really hit it off then and it took 3 years of being friends for us to finally make the leap to more. We have been married for 3 years now and have our first child on the way in about 2 1/2 months and everyday I am amazed and insipired by him. He puts up with all my crazy hormones and mood swings with a laugh and a special smile and a look that just makes all the wack-a-doodleness in me go away. He is all the inspiration I need!
My husband has made a positive impact in my life. He makes me want to be a better person!
My children have the most positive impact in my everyday life. My 11 yr old son has the most kind heart and positive go get it attitude, nothing gets him down. My Daughter is 3 and watching her grow and learn is amazing. They remind me to not take life and our time together for granted.
My cousin Lori has made a huge impact on my life. She is 39 years old and is in end stage bladder cancer. She is the mother of 2 wonderful children and also a newlywed. She has previously battled ovarian cancer, recovered from a stroke and suffered through neurological problems. And every day she manages to smile, to love the little moments in life, and to always look for the positive in every situation. She refuses pain medications while suffering horrendous pain so that she can fully be there for her children. While confined to her bed one day, she posted on facebook that while she couldn’t see them, she loved hearing the joyful sounds of the children floating in through the bedroom window. She reminds me to take care of myself, to love unconditionally, and to never take the little moments for granted.
My husband and my kids. They are amazing and I am so grateful for what each of them gives me on a daily basis! I cannot imagine going through this life with anyone else!
My grandma. She has always been such a strong and generous person, I’m always so happy when people say that I remind them of her. Years ago, she get very sick and everyone was worried that we would lose her. I think that’s when we realized that she really is the glue that holds our family together. She’s helped raise all of us grandchildren, and now pet-sits since we’re all grown up. She’s always got to be taking care of someone! She’s the funniest, nicest, and sassiest lady, and I love her to pieces.
My husband always makes my day brighter ! He is my best friend. He knows what I am going to say before I even say it. He is my everything. I thank God everyday for Him..
Also my cat makes my day brighter ! I love just having him around just to talk to and he won’t judge me or talk back at me ! I also love that he knows when you are happy or sad and just need a friend!
My Mom is the most wonderful example and has make a very positive impact on my life. She is the most self-less person I know and not just to her children. She would quite literally give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. I would do well to be half the example to my children as she has been to me.
My daughter Jessica, who is the bravest person I know…She has been through so much in her short little life, and is truly an inspiration to me. She gives me the courage live life to it’s fullest.
My son brings out the best in me. He gets me up and moving, and teaches me something new everyday.
My husband. I am so grateful to have found him. I became a better person from knowing him and loving him. He cares for me more then i could ever imagine and I couldn’t live without him.
The amazing person in my life is my husband, Rob. Not only is he an amazing husband, but an amazing man. It is amazing how much more you learn about love when you have someone that loves you unconditionally and would do anything for you! He has made me a better wife, friend, sister and daughter.
My godmother is the most amazing woman in the world. She has been through so many difficulties in her life and inspires me to be a good person and be strong through all the hard times
My husband makes my day. We will be celebrating 28years of marriage in August. He is my best friend and greatest advocate. I am lucky to have him in my life.
My days are always brighter when I spend them with my husband, Kevin. He loves life and challenges me to try new things. I’m the brake and he’s the gas pedal!
My 90-year-old mom and my dad who died is 2001. They adopted me when I was three months old — 54 years ago — and have been my hearts ever since.
My 2 boys are the world to me, they are my miracles. I had a very critical pregnancy with both and they both turned out perfect. I am very grateful for them in my life everyday.
My niece Abby….she brought out the best in EVERYONE that she was around. We lost Abby to leukemia in October. She was diagnosed just a week after her 12th bday in April of 2010. Even though Abby is no longer with us, her spirit, charm, charisma, caring nature, pure heart and infectious smile is still with me EVERY single day. Her memory brings out the best me everyday & reminds me no matter how bad things may seems….some one else has it better. & i thank her for that! Love you Abbs!
My son has been the best thing that ever happened to me. He fills my life with such joy and love! He makes me a better person.
My daughter that even on my hectic days, she puts a big smile on my face. She is super creative (at the age of 5) and is always making me jewelry I can wear to work and remember her by.
My dog! he has shown me that happiness is a choice. also my mom.
college professor
My mother has always been my role model. When I was young she worked two jobs and went to school just to make ends meet. In the summers she got my sister and I into a day camp by being a camp counselor because she knew how much we enjoyed it. after coming home for the day she would get ready and leave for her real job, as a waitress, and then in September she started back at school. I never understood those sacrifices when I was young but I see them all too clearly now, and I love her deeply for everything she ever did do and, yes, still does for me. <3
My oldest sister. She was always there to help & support, no matter what. I have always looked up to her. Her faith never seems to fail her. I cannot say enough good about her.
My husband and kids…they are the best
My 2 1/2 year old grandson, Heath, is the joy of my life. When he smiles at me and says, “Ah, Mimi”, my hearts just melts!!
My family…. they are always there when I need help.
That would be my husband and kids. They always make my day brighter!
My son is my greatest joy, but my Mom has made the biggest impact on my life. She is the most generous, caring, loving and selfless person I have ever met. I strive to be the mother she is, but even if I only get it half right, I’m doing pretty well!
I would have to say that my Husband and 3 children have made the most impact on my life. We have had a rough year in some ways but have grown closer than ever. This has taught me that no matter how rough life can get there is always something good that will come out of it : )
My daughter – she makes me smile and laugh with all her silliness!
My son—he always makes my day!!!
Hands down, my daughter. She is the light of my life. My husband and I love waking up to see her smiling giggly face each day.
my mom – always an inspiration and there when you need her!!
My husband Paul has made the biggest impact on my life. This Thursday we will be celebrating 5 years of marriage, and I can’t imagine a more supportive loving person to share my life with:)
My MOM is the greatest influence in my life. She continues to be there for me, as I continue to try to be a mom like her (w/ 3 grown children I am still learning). She is the cornerstone of our entire family, quietly guiding each of her grown daughters w/ their families, maintaining confidences, always encouraging, especially in these difficult times and always willing to lend a hand or brainstorm w/ our everyday lives and still be an independent monument to Motherhood. I know I can get thru anything when I think of my Mom, I am honered to be her daughter and hope I can be the mother to my children as she has been to me.
My dad and my new husband! We just got married last month. They both mean the world to me. 😀
My Mom has made the most positive impact in my life by supporting me through everything and allowing me to make my own decisions too so I can learn from my mistakes.
My husband is the most wonderful man. He is my whole world. He has always been there for me and for everyone else.Even though he hasn’t had the easiest life he just keeps on giving. He helped out his sister when she was dying by taking off a months work.Even tho he knew his bills werent going to be paid.He was there day and night talking to her and reasurring her.He was there for his Dad after his Mom passed away.Driving 3 hrs one way every weekend After working 14 hours a day all week to go take care of his dad.Setting up meals for him for the week and cleaning and doing upkeep on the house. For 5 years. Then when his Dad’s health got bad.( Alzhiemers). He packed up and left his job and home and moved to take care his father.Every day was a challenge but he stuck it out until Dad passed away.7 years of taking care of a person with alzhimers was not easy but he just couldn’t put him in a home. He said his dad took care of him when he was young so now it was his turn.So my hubby is my greatest influence and my best friend! 30 years we have been together. And he still works 12 hrs a day and helps everyone who needs it.
My kids make a positive impact on my life by giving me the stride to make it through the day. So I can be a better mom to them everyday.
My girlfriend, Jess, has made the biggest impact on my life. I’m very lucky to have her in my life. She supports me beyond belief & is there for me through thick and thin.

My parents!
Definately my kids. Every day is a new adventure filled with laughs, learning, and love. Kids make you think about everything you do and make you want to be the best you can be.
My 4 daughters make my everyday brighter, no matter how stressed I am they always know exactly what to do to make me smile. Whether it’s with a joke or a hug, there are no 4 other people that I would rather spend the rest of my life with 🙂
My upstairs neighbor who is an elderly deaf woman. She is a woman who uses home signs and is clearly uneducated. Yet, she is the hardest working woman I know. She goes to work without fail daily and does not complain. She has a cat and a dog and always has food for them. I can tell when she is low on money based on the amount of tuna cans in her recycle box. Her washer broke and I am planning to surprise her by donating our washer to her when we move out at the end of this month. We have a new washer at our new place and no need to drag this one with us. It is only 3 years old but I know she will cherish it. She inspires me to not stress over small things.…
My hubby has definitely made my life wonderful! We’ve had a really rough year due to my chronic illness, but he is my rock … always full of love of support! I love him dearly!! ♥
My babies! No matter how much they drive me insane, hearing their giggles and seeing their smiles and getting hugs and kisses from them makes everything feel perfect
My sweet little boys can say just the right thing to light up my day. And their faces light up whenever we get to go to IHOP! 🙂
My mother has made the most impact on my life. She was a single mother who received no help from my father at all. She never complained, she just did what she had to do. She always made sure I had everything I needed (and some things that I just wanted!). She worked hard and even worked 2 jobs to help put me through college. She is the most amazing woman I know.
My mom, she is my best friend my best guide my everything, whatever i am today in life is all thanx to her. She is my strength!
My mom, who has passed away, made the biggest impact on my life. I see myself acting more and more like her and knowing that she is watching over me and my family.
My husband. He’s my best friend and he makes all my days bright! <3
I just love I HOP. Brings back memories of my dear father in law, who ALWAYS needed to go there when we visited him in Florida 🙂
My mom probably has had the biggest, positive impact on my life. She was, before I married, my biggest fan – whatever it was I was doing. Always supportive, she always said I could do anything I wanted if I put my mind to it. She’s been gone 2 years, and I miss her terribly!
My wife with out her i would probably still be on drugs and running around But when i met here she changed my life and took in my kids as her own and i Thank her for it..
my momma has made a huge impact in my life. she would always sacrifice so i could have everything i needed.
My daughter has been my inspiration. She is joyful, loving and helpful to all even after she had surgery to remove a brain tumor. To this day she remains tumor free and has learned to live for today.
My son Cody has made a postive impact on my life. He has shown me I need to spend time with the ones I love and not to take them for granted.
My two gifts from God aka children make my not only my day, but my night brighter too. They keep me on my toes as a responsible adult/mom, while allowing me to be a kid and have fun with them. I really don’t know where I would be without them:-)
My girls bring out the best in me. They are 18 and 23. I love listening to the laughter. They make me laugh and nmake me happy. Quality family time is important.
My two girls, ages 10 and 6. They bring out my very creative side each and everyday!!! Love these tiny dancers xoxo
My family makes my day brighter, including my chihuahua. Top it off with living rich with coupons!
my furry babies Miracle and Whiskers made such an impact in my life. At a time when I was laid off from my job of 24 yrs and depressed and feeling at a loss for happiness, I found them on my back porch a few hours old. they were struggling for life as their kitty Mommy could not take care of them. I took them in and fostered them back to health–dropper feeding them every 2-3 hours and keeping them warm with blankets and hot water bottles. Now they are four and have brought such love and joy to me–I think back to how they came into my life at just the right time for all of us. They make me smile so many times a day I can’t count. They have enriched my life so much!
GOD!!! NOT TO BRING RELIGION INTO IT BUT THE HOPE IN KNOWING THAT GOOD PEOPLE STILL EXIST AND HOPE IS STILL A WORD THAT WE CAN LOOK TO MAKES MY BRIGHTER AND IT ALLOWS ME TO REALLY APPRECIATE ALL OF THE LOVE THAT SURRONDS ME DAILY
It’s so true!
My mom!! She has stood by me through thick & thin and taught me well.
My husband whom passed away last year made a huge impact on my life. He taught me how to live again and showed me what it felt like to be unconditionally loved. I was only with him for seven short years and miss him so much! He loved life and it showed.
An important person in my life has always been my Mom. No matter what I get myself into [or finds me itself], she’s always stood by me. I’d do anything for her and love her, probably, more than she’ll ever know.
My nana that passed away a few years ago brought out the best in me. She taught me to be ambitious and reach for the stars. I will forever hold her in my heart. Love you nana!
My 2 1/2 year old! Just when I think I can’t take anymore (stress, cleaning, annoying people) she makes me laugh and smile…the innocence of a child is an excellent reminder to take a step back and stop being so serious sometimes! Annd of course I love that she talks about coupons all the time and knows we buy nothing unless it’s on sale! LOL
My mother has made a positive impact. I was unsure of wanted i wanted to do after high school. Due to her illness I was taking care of her. She made the statement that i would make a good C.N.A. From that time forward i Have been a C.N.A. since 1993 and I love it…
My mom and dad have made a positive impact on my life. My mom was a stay at home mom and was always there to greet us with a smile when we got home from school, while my dad worked 3 jobs so that she would be able to stay home. She shared her love with other children she babysat and always had room for one more. My mom is a two time breast cancer survivor and my dad is a lung cancer survivor who also has endured a triple bypass and carotid surgery. Through all of this they cared for my grandmother who had lung disease, my uncle who had lung disease and my grandfather who had diabetes. They are always there for anyone who needs them no matter what they are going through or if they are tired; they never show it and never complain. They are truly my inspiration for what a family should be and I give thanks for having them in my life every day!
My husband and started going to ihop in poughkeepsie ny,before we were married, and made it a sunday ritual to visit, through out the years, we have seen servers come and go, and they have seen us expecting an dnow dealing with our 3 yr old. we love ihop and for us its a family experience. Thank you for always making our sundays awesome!
I would have to say my children I have 3 Josie who is 9, Charlie she is 2, and Timmy he is 10 months. They keep me on my toes and make feel like a million bucks. When I found out I was pregnant with my 3 I was scared to death with the 2 younger ones being so close together but we take it day by day and we are making it. My children are smart, beautiful, and so funny. They bring out the best in me. I am so greatful for them.
My husband for all he’s done for our family, our country, and his own life through his Air Force service. He’s shown me great strength, courage, and honor through his work ethic, his drive to be the best father and husband a woman could ask for.
I would say it was my dad. He died early, but had such a wonderful outlook on life. He was kind, patient and loving. I still miss him terribly even though it has been 31 years.
My parents have made the most positive impact on my life. They’re about to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on September 16, 2011. They’re both very giving and patient with each other and get over their arguements quickly. They’re wonderful role models.
My daughter, Julie. she is 12 years old. Her father and I divorced when she was 4 years old, and we never saw him again. At the age of 12 most girls are more worried about getting all the cool stuff all their friends have, but not my girl, she knows things are tough for us, especially since I lost my job back in February. She does a lot to help me, never asks for a thing. But when I do have a few buck I make sure its spent on her!! An IHOP visit is always fun for us as she LOVES the hashbrowns and BLTs!! LOL We love IHOP
But yeah, my Julie is my rock and has made my life so much better!
My grandmother, Marian. After my mom left, when I was about 4, my dad’s mom took over and raised me. We fought terribly as I got older… to the point where we wanted nothing to do with each other by the time I was 23. As I grew up, and as she grew older, we came together again. About four years ago, when I was 33, she passed away… but by that time we’d become best of friends, and spent as much time together as possible. Just the relationship we had to rebuild was such a positive impact, because it taught me that with open minds and open hearts, all things can be mended. Our differences when I was young became our foundations as we grew. I miss her greatly each and every day.
My Mom and Grandmother give me the inspiration to be a great mother one day. They have both showed me what strength and detrmination wil bring someone. My Grandmother had her first child at 15 and another before graduating high school. She graduated and went to college while taking care of 3 children. Thats alot of work for anybody. My mother has had two brain surgeries and is still fighting pain everyday, but she gets out of bed and fights back at the world. She was a single parent for many years and did whatever it took to make sure that my sisters and I had everything we could ever want. They taught me what it takes to be an incredible mother and I have some big shoes to fill one day. 🙂
my dad. he is a huge inspiration for me.
not to follow the crowd, but its true, my two children. No matter what is happening in the world children bring a whole new perspective to the table.
It’s tough to pick just one! My husband worked hard for many years so I could stay home with the children. My children bring out the best in me as well… and the grandson… he’s the love of our lives at the moment!
My son who is expected to make his arrival any day! Boy they mean it when they say the best things in life are unexpected, he was a surprise for me and my husband and although I was so nervous at first to be a mom so soon he has already changed my life for the better in so many ways and he’s not even here yet. I have never been happier in my life and its all because of him. Cant wait to meet him!
Days brighter because of the love of my kids. All 4 of them with their different personalities make my sun shine.
My wonderful sons! They have shown me that love is everlasting, age is just a number, and youth is not to be taken for granted. Lee and Chris, you guys rock!
My son brings out the best in me. He has struggled his whole life with epilepsy and ADHD. It was a very long road for him, but he has made me so proud and is now in college pursuing his dreams.
The people who have had the most impact on me recently are my social media friends, in particular those who support animal advocacy and fight against animal abuse. The networking we are able to do has helped saved countless animals across the country, rescuing from shelters to foster and forever homes, donations, rallies, petitions, etc. The spirit of this social networking movement has even recently made me consider a career change to help our furry friends!
AND couponing has allowed me to be able to donate a huge box of pet food and supplies to my local SPCA! =)
My boyfriend of three years who will spend HOURS upon HOURS at my side clipping coupons and searching for deals. He is the brains of our team, and I wouldn’t be able to do it without him!
My two little boys and husband made the biggest impact on my life. They are my everything, without them I would be empty. Because of them I know way too much about superheros and car parts, but I would not have it any other way.
My husband and my twin baby girls have had a very positive impact on my life.
My mom has affected my life by showing me how to be a good mother to my kids!
The person who has made a positive impact on my life is a Shirley a member at my church. She enlisted me to help with a fall pot pie supper and the next day at church she told me what an awesome and dedicated worker I was and would I be interested in helping in the spring. This woman continually tells me that I am a wonderful person and mother. I always feel so much better about myself after I am finished talking with Shirley.
My husband! He is the most dedicated and loving man I have ever met! He has inspired me in so many ways!
My husband…he has been so supportive of me over the last 4 years. He always knows how to pick me up when I’m down and out.
Of course I would not be who i am if not for my Mom.
My 5 month old daughter has made the biggest positive impact on my life! She brightens every day with her beautiful smile!
My entire family has had a positive impact on me each in their own ways. Everyone from my grandparents all the way down to my kids. I also try to positively impact myself and them in return. It doesn’t always work, but I try.
My mom made a big impact on my life. She is awesome and is 91 and still going strong. I don’t know what I would do without her. Love you mom.
My son and my husband bring the biggest joy in my life. I am so thankful for them each and every day
My best friend, Abram, makes my day brighter for sure! He is such an amazing person! He grew up in a single parent home, and to this day is helping support his mom while working a full time job, and attending college full time. Also, he and I work together on a bus route for our church. We go out for about 6 hours each Sunday afternoon bringing kids to church and I have watched him sacrifice his time, money and energy for these kids over and over again. I am so privileged to have him in my life! Just today I told him that I smile every time I open my inbox and there’s a message from him. He always has something encouraging to say, and he’s always there when I need him. I love him so much!
My husband, he was almost killed a few years ago and because of that I try to make each day as special as I can even if it’s just in a small way.
my mom is the inspiration of my life. there is no better person on this earth to me. she is the definition of the word unconditional love!
The person who has had the greatest positive impact on my life of late has been Heather T. Forbes. The instruction and training she provides for parents of emotionally challenged (and challenging) kids has given me hope that my daughter’s future will turn out well, in spite of the issues we’re working through now. It has also given me strength in the war to continue even when the battle seems lost.
My day is always brighter due to a 10 year old and 4 year old. At this age their view in life is so innocent that even if it’s bad the way they look at it makes it good. For instance my daughter kept pointing at a commercial and she kept saying mommy you have that, look. I look up and it’s a commercial for anti-wrinkle cream. You could only smile and laugh.
THE PERSON WHO HAS HAD THE MOST POSITIVE IMPACT ON ME IS MY MOTHER. SHE IS MY ROCK. OCTOBER 1, 2010 I gave birth to the most precious little boy. October 7, 2010 my mom on her way to stay with me was in a head on collision. God was with her and spared my mother. After 30 days in ICU …being flown in as an amputee (but leg was saved) , many hours of physical therapy praise God thru his strength and my moms will , she is with me and her grandbabies today! She is the strongest and self giving person I know. She is definately my HERO~
My husband, for everything that he does for me and our daughter. For making me laugh and giving me hope, taking care of us everyday and for serving our country. He has been the biggest inspiration in my life.
My son has been the most influential person in my life. He has inspired me to not only be a better mom but also be a more organized person and good role model.
It would be my beautiful daughters and son-in-law. The last few years have been extremely rough. A divorce, loss of one job, loss of one parent, the battle with cancer and loss of another parent, and lots of changes within my life. They have stood by as I have found a new job which I love and enjoy and work with great people. Thats a lot, they are the best. love them so much.
I know that almost everyone would say there mother but its so true. For many years she has been the core of our family even when her true love passed. I truely believe that she has some amazing motherly gifts that keep on giving. Her strength has motivated all of us to keep or focus with a side of love.
My 4 kids who keep my husband and I extremely busy but bring a ton of joy to our lives!
My children made a huge impact in my life. You never really know how empty life is until you have such joy!
Simply said, and SO TRUE!
My best friend Rhoda has made a postiive impact on my life by showing me that it’s okay to have an opinion. A person can be polite, courteous and professional without being ugly or rude and get excellent results. This goes for personal and professional life. She has shown me that I am a strong beautiful woman and that I can do anything I set my mind to.
My children – they have taught me that the simplest things in life mean the most!
My friends have made a positive impact on my life. They are there for me when I am down, and help me to see the brighter side of things. They also are not afraid to give their opinions to me when they are different from mine, and this helps me learn. I don’t know what I’d do without my friends!
My step-mom – she has cheated death more than once and is the most optimistic and loving person alive. Since my biological mother dispense me at a young age, she has been the only mother in my life and has always treated me as if I were her biological child.
My husband always brightens my days. I can always count on hi
To make me laugh when I’m crying, live me like no one else can, help when I struggle, and give me the encouragement and confidence to reach for the stars. He is the best husband, best friend, and the greatest father in the world. I would truly be list without him.
My mom! She has taught me what being a mother is all about and I hope that I am doing as good of a job with my two girls as she did with her 2 girls 😉
my mom 🙂
My two gifts from God aka children make my not only my day, but my night brighter too. They keep me on my toes as a responsible adult/mom, while allowing me to be a kid and have fun with them. I really don’t know where I would be without them:-)
My husband has made the impact in my life. He’s my best friend, and after all these years he still makes my heart skip a beat.
My mom has always been my rock!! She is always there when I need her and has stood by me through thick and thin!! She is the strongest woman I know!!
My step-mom – she has cheated death more than once and is the most optimistic and loving person alive. Since my biological mother *disowned (smartphone changed my words the first time!) me at a young age, she has been the only mother in my life and has always treated me as if I were her biological child.
My 10 ar old daughter! It is so nice to see the world thru her eyes. She makes my life complete!
My husband has made a huge impact on my life. He always stays positives and lives every day to the fullest!
Every day…every person……each day I meet someone new….I stop….I listen…I learn….we all have many people in our lives who bring their own light into our lives….but it is in that brief moment when we step into someone else’s lives that makes the biggest differance….
My husband and children make my day brighter every day! With my husband battling a brain tumor late last year around Christmas and now radiation treatment, I wake up so thankful I have my husband in my life! My kids are the ones who got me through it! I’ve always been the rock in our family and I could feel myself crumbling away, but my children pulled me back up with their hugs, kisses, smiles, laughs and extra help! I will never take another moment for granted!
God. After my son Justin passed away in front of me after openheart surgery when he was three and the doctors were able to revive him. God has make a big impact in my life.
My mother of course!
My children make my day, all six of them. Our fourth child was born with many problems that required many doctors, surgeries, hospital stays and in the end hospice. Then two years later a miracle or rather two, twins!! Though I miss our son I am blessed to have had him in my life. Always remember to be greatful for your children even when they are cranky because you truly are blessed to have them in your lives.
My husband has made a wonderful impact on my life. He has changed my world and loved me no matter what. I was a single mother for many years to three wonderful children and now that they are grown my husband and I are enjoying each other
My kids make me have a better day. They say the funniest things and make me
Laugh . 🙂
The person who brings ou the best in me is my grandfarther. He has been a major part of my life since birth and still continues to be a major influence in my life …even at the age of 82. I wouldnt trade him for the world.
My husband, he is my ROCK and has made all my dreams come true. . .we are so very blessed with 2 beautiful baby girls and we are living our “happily ever after!”
My kids make my world a brighter place every day! They have taught me about sacrifice and how giving to the ones you love most makes every day a good one!
My three children have impacted my life in so many ways. I am a much better person because of them.
My grandmother has had this biggest, most positive impact on my life! She took me and my brother in and raised us! We had nowhere to go because my mother passed away and my dad went to prison! We experienced a lot in our young lives but she was by our side the whole time! She taught me to never give up no matter what, picked me up when I was down. If it weren’t for her me and my brother would not be the people we are today For that we are eternally grateful!
My son because he’s the only family I have. He’s keep me going each day
My kids have made a very positive impact in my life…I’ve learned to appreciate the small things in life. I love them!
My husband has truly made an impact on my life. We have been married for 2 years and I still love him as much as the day we met. He takes care of me, protects me, loves me, looks out for me, and respects me. I couldn’t ask for a better husband. He has given me my beautiful one year old baby girl, and we love spending time together as a family.
My two boys and my husband! Without them my life would be incomplete. My oldest son has severe ADHD and cognitive disorder and I have learned so much caring for him. I have learned patience and the real things that matter in life…can’t sweat the small stuff!! My younger son is just a ray of sunshine who amazes me every day and is one of the most loving and sweet children I know. Then there is my hubby who stepped in and took on the responsibility of helping to care for two small children that are not his. My husband is always quick with loving words and to make me laugh even when I am in the worst of moods. These three people have made the most positive impact on my life…they show me what unconditional love really is.
Who has made a positive impact in my life?? My boys. I have 3 sons that drive me up a wall, BUT bring me love and joy everyday 🙂
